Most "Embarrassing" Artists or Songs On Your iPod/

Postby Enigma869 » Thu Sep 10, 2009 6:20 am

Okay...time to step into the confessional. What artist(s) and/or songs do you have on your iPod/mp3 player that you really enjoy but you know it is sooooooo nothing to be proud of? I'll start this off by saying that I have plenty of Barry Manilow (Please don't tell my wife) and Elvis!

I have this on my Ipod.
"Islands in the stream" is a catchy tune and who can ignore a Barry Gibb-produced album?

I do too. Wasn't on purpose. I highlighted everything Journey and loaded it, forgetting that Gens was in there. But since it's there, I wait for "Gone Crazy" to play so I can laugh for about 60 seconds before going "Ok. That's enough."

I'm really not ashamed of anything I listen to even though lots of people prolly would be . If it's a good voice, good songwriting, good musicianship whatever... I'm in. Celine Dion is one I have in mind that most people who know me would be totally fuckin shocked. I got her greatest hits on there. I got a couple of Vanessa Carlton songs... let's see... who else... I dunno, I'll come back when I bring my iPod in from the car.

I like this CD every once in a while, but it's nothing I'd listen to very often.

Doesn't Lynyrd Skynyrd sing "Sweet Home Alabama"?? Don't get me wrong...I'd last about 5 days in Alabama before committing suicide. That said, that's a great fucking song!

Yep, that's theirs. Skynyrd's okay but it's not cool for me to admit that in my circle of friends. Hell, I thought I was related to the damn band till I was about ten. Born in '78. The band's plane crash was in '77. My mom mourned that incident for years often referring to "Uncle Ronnie" & "Aunt Cassie" & so forth. My head was fucked up there for awhile.
