Who wouldve thought that there would come a day when Steve Perry would have his own section here , but not Journey ..... Even Bryan Adams has a section here !! :wink: :lol:

That was my first knee-jerk reaction...however, it might just be that Andrew is looking to generalize the forum in an effort to put some continuity to the OT posts...

SEO (search engine optimization) is what I do for a living and I know that changing a forum's name will cause it to gradually lose its search ranking for the old name.

Andrew can't control that ranking anymore than Journey can....
Given the restricted access of Journey's forum, the search engine bots are not going to be able to parse the band's website like they can here.


Even if Andrew changes the name of the forum, it'll likely still rank higher than Journey's own site....
