I'm glad I can give you a little chuckle there, sweets. :P BTW: You're avatar reminds me of Journey's Separate Ways video when they have their heads in the closeup side angle view.

Ann Wilson dueting with Arnel on Open Arms! This is unbelievable. I don't know who the hell got backstage to film this, but good work! Never knew this happened. '08 tour.

I love Ann Wilson, but I think her phrasing sucks here. She and Arnel don't harmonize well at all.

Last week of September. Heart's last show of the Tour. I think that particular tune was picked because it was the easiest song to do, two verses and done. Not the best performance but it was more about the moment, rather than the song itself.

I agree but just seeing this is rare as it is. Pretty cool they did this for the fans and gave Arnel an opportunity to jam with one of his inspirations.

This is more of the whole song with Arnel, better view and audio also. I love the rendition and loving the fact that Arrival is getting recognition along with the Augeri years! Brings more credibility in my opinion. Awesome job!

BTW: ARNEL IS STELLAR!!!!!!!! LOVIN THIS GUY HARDCORE.

So what and who cares? Real fans want these numbers played and they sound good too. Neal will cave once he sees this video of the folks standing, but has anyone considered they aren't moving and dancing because they don't know the fucking song? Good bands will pull these out and play them. I commend Neal for this. Now, just don't cave in and say "forget it" because all the shallow happy big titted blondes don't mouth the words back to you. This beats the Hell out of Open Arms, WCN or LTS. Keep it close to the set list.

Fuckin Granny won't go see Bruce with me in Philadelphia (and she's 5 miles away from the Spectrum), because she saw a concert on HBO and he pulled some deep cuts out and she wasn't able to sing along. So she is soured. Again, so what? Maybe the crowd is digging it, just in a different way. Again, this is what Journey needs to do to distance themselves from the Styx's, Bostons and REO's of the world.

Agreed. I usually come away from a concert where I heard new material lookin for the fuckin album, because I enjoyed it since I actually listened to it instead of running for another $8 beer. Hell, I've been to shows where I've known two songs by the band and ended up buying their entire discography.

Journey continues to man up, add deep tunes, cut some of the DD, they yet may win me back again.

What I would love to see next: Sign requests. Do it Schon.

Nice to hear this track... Sounds good... miss the harmonizing with Deen on the bridge, but maybe it's there and just can't hear it.

It's there, but he and Arnel are singing the same part, whereas Augeri used to drop down a little bit and let Deen take the highest part himself.

Cool, then they must have the mix really tight. Miss Augeri doing it though. Liked that dude, regardless to all the other crap that went down.

Agreed. His work on the Arrival album is absolutely outstanding. Eight years after its release I listen to that album much more frequently than Generations four years later or Revelation one year later.

Revelation hasn't stood the test of time as a whole, and Generations really hasn't. As an album, Arrival is about as good as they come. Maybe Revelation has some of the better individual tracks, but Arrival is quality throughout.

I still go and throw Change, NWA, or TDTWT on here and there, but I never listen to more than one or two songs from the album in a sitting. I'll always listen to Arrival in at least groups of 4, if not the whole thing. Gens is the same thing, sometimes I'm really pining for Never Too Late, FITH, Better Life, Out Of Harm's Way, or Beyond The Clouds, but I don't feel any need to listen to any significant part of the album.

Fuck you. Anyone can be converted, and they still have a ways to go with me, but having said that, they are starting to develop a backbone.

So, since you don't answer your phone at work(and I know you aren't doing a damned thing at "work" except unsticking the pages from the Revelation CD booklet), are you going to Philly with me or not? Let me show you what a real rock n roll show is all about 13.

Im actually coming around on Journey as well....I still think Neal is one of the most despicable pieces of shit out there, friga's an oportunistic fuckwad with a bloody dripping vag between his legs....

...but the fuckers can play....and they're slowly shedding some of the more disturbingly predictable shite they were passing off under the dirty dozen umbrella.

I don't know, there were a few good songs on Revelation. I'd buy a new cd, but wouldn't be interested in seeing them live again. I'm feeling that way with pretty much all the classic rock bands I like.
