Courtney Love on digital Cobain singing Bon Jovi

Postby Ehwmatt » Sat Sep 12, 2009 3:00 pm

So, I guess there's a digital likeness of Cobain in one of the Rock Band games and apparently Courtney Love is upset that the character shows up on songs besides Nirvana.

TMZ wrote:
Love's lawyer told us, "Activision is exploiting Kurt's image in a manner anathema to the very essence of his music, spirit and essence.

I along with Ms. Cobain hope those who love Kurt's music strongly voice their sentiments to Activision and demand his image not be debased by singing the songs of Bon Jovi.

LOL... Kurt couldn't sing his way out of Bon Jovi's asshole. This bitch needs to go on a bender and get committed once and for all.

Kurt probably would have disapproved of the avatar, but Courtney needs to sit down anyway.

Say what you want about Kurt, but he's an icon.

Well we people from Seattle do not feel this way. He brought in a whole new music style that will live on in history.

Undeserving though.

Out of the "grunge" movement he was the worst voice, worst lyricist, and worst guitar player.

The only reason he's so "iconic" now is because he died early.

Eddie Vedder, Layne Staley, and Chris Cornell owned him as lyricists/singers, and Gossard/McCready, Kim Thayil, and Jerry Cantrell all obliterate him as guitarists.

Cobain = Shit.

Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, and Soundgarden all blow Nirvana away. Nirvana's not even grunge for me, it's just crap rock.

Cobain was on the verge. I would have liked to see/hear his music in is late 30's-early 40's. I bet there would have been some good music. But I do agree...he was an ass and a coward for taking his own life.

Um.... he was probably not even in the right state of mind. People usually are pretty out of it when they decide to commit suicide. That isn't cowardice; it's mental illness. If he did in fact kill himself, of course... :shock: *puts on tin-foil hat*

But enough white-knighting.

Courtney Love and the rest of these weirdos have to realize it's JUST A FREAKING VIDEO GAME. Who the hell cares who ends up on a video game?! It's not the end of the world. :roll:
