50 seconds left, 2 timeouts. FG wins it. Plenty of time. Edwards has been great all night.

New England just got exposed. A shame Buffalo loses this game. New England won't win more than 9 games this year, always catching the breaks.

Okay, now on to the late game San Diego at Oakland...Please no need to tell me about LT running for 240 with 3 TDs.... I've been a Raiders fan for quite a long time and I'm quite aware of the drill.

Oakland's run game looking good so far, nice chunks. Jamarcus Russell will be a bigger bust than Ryan Leaf. Terrible move on Oakand's part on getting rid of Garcia. Russell is the problem and it shows. We'll see how he responds.

It's not about me looking good, dude. I don't play for these fuckers! The Patriots should count their blessings for winning that game. They didn't look good the entire game and yet Brady still threw for almost 400 yards and made the plays when he had to make them. This Patriots defense is going to get exposed, BIG TIME, when they actually have to face a team with an offense! I think Brady showed that by mid-October, he'll be back to being Tom Brady and lighting up the scoreboard. I'm not liking their matchup next week against the Jets, at all, after watching this game!

Before the last 2 drives, he threw only 1 or two balls over 15 yards. He made a Hall Of Fame career out of throwing 4-5 yard dunks. Bills hold onto the ball and it's game over. Lucky.

You're a fucking moron! Brady has thrown for over 3500 yards EVERY year in his entire career with the exception of one (and he threw for 2900 yards that season). Only one of those seasons did he actually have above average receivers! According to you, Ben Roethlisberger has played with a hall of fame receiver for his entire career, and oh by the way, also had Plaxico Burress, and only once has thrown for over 3500 yards! Hate the Patriots all you want and run your mouth all you want. Diminishing Brady's career accomplishments tells me that your football knowledge wouldn't fill a fucking thimble!

Here we go again with your hoarse shit stats. I'll say it again. Tom Brady has made a HALL OF FAME CAREER out of throwing 4-5 yard dump offs. How is calling him a HALL OF FAMER diminish his career dumbfuck? Tom Brady SHOULD throw for that many yards, that's the way the systems built! He throws over 50 balls a game dude. I'm not talking about his career, I'm talking about tonight.. the god damn present. New England looked TERRIBLE against the Bills for Christ sake. How could you call Plaxico a Hall of Fame receiver? Ben only played with him one year, his rookie season. Again, the Steelers were one of the top teams at running the ball that season, if anything Plax was always known for dropping sure handed balls, or quitting on routes. FAR FROM A HALL OF FAME receiver.

Since 2004, Ben's rookie season, installed in a run first, power running team, he has thrown for 2,621 yards in 2004, 2,385 yards in '05 (Both seasons while leading at the top of the league in rushing), 3,515 yards in '2006, 3,154 yards in 2007, and 3,3301 yards in '08, all the while getting sacked 50 times a year and not playing some games with injury. Considering how the Steelers operate as a running team, Ben has had a nice career throwing the ball in Pittsburgh, and the handcuffs are now coming off of him entering his prime. I am very pleased by the way Ben Roethlisberger has taken over this team and made a career out of getting the job done taking shots down field and making clutch pass's. Brady relies off his scat players to do the work for him with all the Y.A.C!

Just in case you didn't hear me the first time...You're a fucking dope! I NEVER said that Plaxico Burress was a Hall of Fame receiver. I said that according to you, Hines Ward is a Hall Of Fame receiver, and went on to say that he also played with Plaxico Burress! Ben has played with his hall of famer his entire career. Brady has played with his hall of fame receiver one single season and won all three championships without him! I think it's time for a certain Pittsburgh teenager to brush up on his reading skills!

Read it fast, and you see Plaxico Burress and Hall of fame receiver in the same sentence, not that hard to get mixed up at what you're reading, jackass. Hines is indeed a Hall of Famer, but not by a number game, Hines is one of the best possession receivers to ever play the game, alongside being a beast in every phase. Again, you base everything off a stat book, what an easy road to take when making a point. Point of the matter is, Brady throws the ball 50 times (*Ben has BARELY been in the situation to throw more than 28-30 passes, and when he does, like Thursday, he passes for 365 yards.) a damn game, and his receivers rack up all the yardage with Y.A.C. IN every Super Bowl that New England has played in, it was Vinnatieri winning the game with the clutch kick. All Brady had to do is dump the ball off, and get his team into field goal range. Without Vinnatieri , N.E doesn't win 1 Super Bowl. By NO means did N.E ever dominate a Super Bowl. Oh, btw, they lost one also with Brady at the helm.

Here's comparing Ben to Brady with their last 2 Super Bowl appearances.

'08 Ben: 21/30 256 yards 1 TD 1INT (Touchdown pass on the Game Winning drive. (Something Brady has never done in a Super Bowl)
'07 Brady: 29/48 266 yards 1 TD 0 INT, while failing to come back on the last drive. (Vinnatieri was a Colt this year.. go figure.)

PITTSBURGH -- This might be the first time Troy Polamalu is happy to hear that an injury will keep him out from three to six weeks.

Polamalu realizes his injury could be much worse. Maybe even Brian Urlacher-like worse.

The two-time All-Pro safety doesn't need surgery to repair the tear in his left medical collateral ligament that occurred during a scramble for the ball on a blocked-field goal attempt Thursday against Tennessee. Coach Mike Tomlin's preliminary estimate of how long Polamalu will be out also hasn't changed.

It's reported that it's going to be up to 3-6 weeks and Troy seems optimistic that it could be sooner than that. My opinion, I think we are going to hold him out due to our performance's the next3 weeks or so, and if we are sitting good along the way, then I could see us giving him extra time and sit out until the bye week, which is Week 8. Troy will make his return by Week 9..it all depends where we're at. He COULD come back sooner than that, but Tomlin will take every pre-cautionary and give him the bye week. If we are struggling down the stretch, which is unlikely, he could make a return sooner.

Tyrone Carter will get the job done back there and it's his job to step in and play, something he has done well in the recent years when Troy went down with injury. The defense will not stop at all costs, and LeBeau will game plan around the strength of the defense, and that as Carter's, who is a big hitter as it is. He'll play his game and keep the machine flowing smoothly until Troy's return.

Since 2006, Polamalu has missed eight starts because of injury. The Steelers are 6-2 in those games, and they're 5-2 when Carter has started. Also, Tyrone replaced Troy in the second Quarter, and even though the D had some breakdowns before half, they never really had that big of a drop-off and still played very well and held Tennessee to just 10 points. Troy will be majorly missed, but Carter is a reliable and dependable backup.

God asks Peyton Manning first: "What do you believe?"

Peyton thinks long and hard, looks God in the eye, and says, "I believe in
hard work, and in staying true to family and friends. I believe in giving. I
was lucky, but I always tried to do right by my fans."

God can't help but see the essential goodness of Manning, and offers him a seat to his left.

Then God turns to Aaron Rodger’s and says, "What do you believe?"

Aaron says, "I believe passion, discipline, courage and honor are the fundamentals of life. I, too, have been lucky, but win or lose, I've always tried to be a true sportsman, both on and off the playing fields."

God is greatly moved by Aaron's sincere eloquence and he offers him a seat to his right.

Finally, God turns to Brett Favre: "And you, Brett, what do you believe?"

Brett replies, "I believe you're in my seat."

Carolina at Atlanta 1:00 PM

Minnesota at Detroit 1:00 PM - Minnesota rolls over Detroit (Doesn't everyone)! Look for Adrian Peterson to score another 3 TD's this week and be well on his way to breaking Tomlinson's TD record! I'm not sure the Lions could beat a good Pop Warner team at this point!

Cincinnati at Green Bay 1:00 PM - Green Bay. It's going to be another long season in Cincinatti.

Houston at Tennessee 1:00 PM

Oakland at Kansas City 1:00 PM

New England at NY Jets 1:00 PM - ***Upset Special*** New England's defense was already VERY suspect before Jerod Mayo went out for 8 weeks. The Jets have one of the better (and underrated) defenses in the NFL and their offensive line is superb. The only edge I give to New England in this game is at QB but I don't think it's enough to beat a VERY hungry Jets team this week. Hopefully the Jets running their mouth about how they're going to embarrass the Patriots this week will offer a different outcome than I'm predicting, but I'm not optimistic!

New Orleans at Philadelphia 1:00 PM - Saints have WAY too much offense for Philadelphia to contain and New Orleans wins!

St. Louis at Washington 1:00 PM

Arizona at Jacksonville 1:00 PM

Tampa Bay at Buffalo 4:05 PM

Seattle at San Francisco 4:05 PM

Pittsburgh at Chicago 4:15 PM

Baltimore at San Diego 4:15 PM

Cleveland at Denver 4:15 PM - In "The Who Cares Bowl", Cleveland continues their losing ways to a VERY average Denver team.

NY Giants at Dallas 8:20 PM - ***Bonus Upset Special*** Cowboys knock off Giants even though the Giants are the better team!

MON, SEP 21
Indianapolis at Miami

I went 3-2 last week.

Carolina at Atlanta 1:00 PM

Minnesota at Detroit 1:00 PM -

Cincinnati at Green Bay 1:00 PM -

Houston at Tennessee 1:00 PM- Tennessee is coming off of a hard fought loss against Pittsburgh, and is returning home against a team that struggled last week against the Jets. Tennessee, like Pittsburgh, had 10 days to rest and should roll to a win over a team thats back is already up against the wall in the Division. Tennessee by 13.

Oakland at Kansas City 1:00 PM

New England at NY Jets 1:00 PM -

New Orleans at Philadelphia 1:00 PM- Defense VS Offense. Depending on McNabb's status, I think Philly moves the ball regardless and plays the kind of defense Bree's struggles against. PRESSURE FROM ALL ANGLES. Bree's won't throw for 6 TD's this week. Philly by 6.

St. Louis at Washington 1:00 PM

Arizona at Jacksonville 1:00 PM

Tampa Bay at Buffalo 4:05 PM

Seattle at San Francisco 4:05 PM

Pittsburgh at Chicago 4:15 PM: A potential trap game for the Steelers. If Pittsburgh shuts down Forte, then they will create a MISERABLE afternoon for Cutler. Expect more points out of the offense from Pittsburgh this week, as well as a balanced run game (nowhere to go but up) & a heavy dose of Roethlisberger. A Little stat. Pittsburgh is 1-11 @ Soldier Field. Something needs to break. Pittsburgh by 10.

Baltimore at San Diego 4:15 PM

Cleveland at Denver 4:15 PM -

NY Giants at Dallas 8:20 PM - Expecting a record crowd EVER in the NFL with over 100,000 in Dallas. It will be much more like a Penn State game, INDOORS. It will be static in the dome. Still, Dallas's defense gave up a HUGE CHUNK of yardage against a bad Tampa team, and once the jitters is out, I expect N.Y to get off to a fast start. Dallas just isn't that good IMO. Giants by 10.

MON, SEP 21
Indianapolis at Miami: UPSET: Manning will be Manning, and have a field day behind center, but that can't make up for the MANY problems that Indianapolis faces this year. Miami over the last two games has 9 turnovers, if they fix that Monday Night, and if Pennington takes care of the football, Miami can steal this. Miami by 4.

The only reason I can think of is the anticipation of their new stadium, in Prime Time. There's no other explanation.
