Also, Taylor may not have known. Really only Kayne (and slight chance maybe Beyonce) were in on the plans along with MTV (who are notorious for staged stunts - remember Enimem and the Borat guy earlier this year). This also keeps up Kayne bad guy image. Every movie needs a villain and hero. Kayne is more than willing to play the villain and Taylor (probably unknown to her) can play the perfect sweetheart/hero. Plus, MTV gets pub.

When Taylor got up for her award, it was before her performance. Notice when she came back out when Beyonce called on her, she had a different dress on from her performance. They go back stage after they perform so it makes sense to me that she wasn't in her seat when Beyonce called her out.

Kanye ripped her dress off backstage in a cognac-fueled rage and they had to change it.

He's such a malignant narcissist! Seriously...he needs to just GO AWAY. He should be totally banned from any awards ceremony from now until eternity. In fact, he needs to be banned from getting in front of a camera at all.
Such a loser.

"They told me to stand by the side of the stage," Swift said. "I didn't really know what was going to go down, but I thought it was so wonderful and gracious of her to do what she's always done."

And you're an ass for admiring Kanye West for being a "militant negro"
Such behavior does nothing for African-Americans except highlight an educational divide that shouldn't be there to begin with. The African-American youth needs a clear speaking roll model.
Not someone that speaks with a 3rd grade education and pushes around thin-white girls.
This isn't overblown. It's a shameful mirror image of just how fucking disgusting our society has become.
If you think that I'm wrong here, I suggest that you watch this youtube:
