It changes, but this song is always consistently one of my favorites - Bandalero off of Beyond the Thunder.

His Shania Twain solo in the 2001 DVD is pretty good.

MANY, but I'll keep it to Journey only:

Stone In Love (outro)
Who's Cryin Now
Faith In The Heartland (Generations Outro)
Signs of Life
Ask The Lonely

Probably my all-time fave: I'll Be Alright Without You - so soulful and bluesy, love the stripped back single coilish tone on there - anyone know if Neal recorded that with a single coil or was he using a coil split? That can't be a humbucker at full blast

Who's Cryin Now is my absolute favorite.

They're all good, though.

Not technically a solo b/c Rolie is on here, and maybe a little Perry, but Neal just blazes through this and towards the end is just on fire: You're On Your Own. I would pay money for Rolie and Neal to do this song with me on the front row, huge money.

Agreed. All the extra lyrics they put over it on tour take away from it in my opinion - always listen to it all the way through when it comes on. When Deen does it, do they still sing over the solo?

And this is my first post - another "victim" of those notifications that never got sent out. The welcoming committee (i.e. stevew2) has already been by my door - long time lurker, happy to be a...wombat.

we need a forum for this topic alone.

there is a better recording of them doing this song in SF ('member cyndy?) but this is my fav hands down.

give up that pop-y schutt, blues brothah, and play from your blue heart, straight into my blue heart.
