Now what's with the guy at 2:36:53![]()
What's funny, is we have a few "regulars" that attend our city commission meetings in our tiny town and it's always interesting the things they have to say
I love how the commissioners have to let them speak, and they cant' laugh at them, and they have to thank them each time, no matter WHAT they do or say. And some are just elderly people who mean well, but have the strangest ideas. Like the regular who came up with the idea of seeding the clouds somehow so that we can avoid future hurricanes. He read a book where he saw that done and wondered if the city could do some research into that so maybe we could make it happen here. I have no idea how they keep a straight face with some of them. I'm sure in a big city like SF it gets way more interesting!
I bet comedy books could be written on some of the things that happen!
Anyway, good luck to you and I hope you find a new job!

I thought I would share with you all my little "soap box" moment at the Board of Supervisors yesterday at City Hall. I am being laid off along with about 500 DPH employees. I loathe public speaking, but sometimes ya do whatcha gotta do! There is a lot on the adgenda, so forward to 2:30:25 for me looking like a wild angry bush woman. Just a hot mess, really.
