Hey Gator, you might get a kick out this. I'm a big Celtic Woman fan and was reading one the girls blog's and came across this funny quote. Seeing that they're from Ireland, the whole Swamp experience must have been new for them.

"We've had some fantastic audiences over the last few weeks. The response has been incredible!. Probably the best was in Gainesville where we did the "Gator Clap" at the end of the show. I thought the arena was going to cave in!"

time to resurrect this baby....good football on tap tomorrow-Ohio State and USC....thoughts??? Im gonna pick OSU at home. Georgia and South Carolina-lets see-the SEC's worst offense vs. the SEC's best defense-edge-South Carolina and the old ballcoach. I will be heading to Gainesville again, early tomorrow morning. They made gametime at noon for TV...I hate noon kickoffs. Florida and Troy-the Gators by 41.

go Buckeyes... OSU in a shoot out... 42-35. ISU/ IOWA Iowa by 3... but dreaming of a Cyclone Victory, hoping for 35-24 ISU

Gators should score 63 again...when does Florida start playing college teams??? and I wonder when my Cyclones will be back to being a Div1 college team!!

The Vols are a good team...but not a GREAT team. The Gators on the other hand, well they are stacked, loaded and lethal.

Im also intrigued by Notre Dame-Michigan, UCLA-Tennessee, and for some reason Penn State-Syracuse.
Michigan over ND by 7.
Tenn over UCLA by 17.
PSU over SU in a squeaker, by 3.

Can someone explain to me why ND used absolutely NO clock on that last drive before Michigan's game-winning drive? Throwing stupid incompletes all the way through... terrible.

???? I know they touched the ball and lost 2 seconds (from 11 to 9)....I was holding my breath right there!!
"M"'s Defense... Better work booooyzzz!!!

What stuck in my mind throughout the game is that in Aug. Lou Holtz predicted a National Championship game consisting of Gators vs Irish
with the Irish losing MAYBE one game to USC!!! I'm stunned and elated!!!

I felt like I had deja vu and it was last year's Texas game all over again. Unlike most mindless people from Ohio, I don't root for OSU merely because I live in Ohio - I don't root for them at all, I don't like them. But that said, I did want them to win last night to bring some pride back to the Big Ten and the region in general.

It's gradually getting more popular to blame Tressel, and maybe there's something to that, I dunno. Pryor just looked too raw, especially in the crunch last night. Now, once again, the media is going to anoint someone like Barkley after he played a subpar game and had one decent drive after OSU's defense forgot how to tackle.

I did see that. I was shocked. I thought the more experienced QB would win at home.

A lot of downtown Cleveland is closed off for the OSU-Toledo faceoff in Browns stadium today - pretty neat atmosphere! Too bad I'm way too hung over to go down there and watch. This has a chance of being a pretty fun game - Toledo has a dynamite offense and OSU's offense under Tressel's "play not to lose mentality" has not looked good thus far.

An upset is remotely possible if OSU's defense doesn't come to play like it did against USC and OSU's offense remains stagnant. Unfortunately for Toledo, their defense is horrendous and will most likely give up a lot of points even to an underwhelming (by OSU standards) offense. Should be fun anyway!

It was :(

Oh well. Like I said, remotely possible

Toledo has a lot of young players and I think they were just totally in awe not only of OSU but also of playing in Browns stadium. Too overwhelming to bring their A game... they coulda done better.

Did you happen to see the hit that got laid on that Decker kid from Minnesota? He was writhing and rolling on the ground for a long time and bleeding. Brutal as hell, usually you don't see them in that much visible pain (they're knocked out if it's real rough). Kid held onto the ball for a touchdown too! It was an amazing catch.
