Andrew, I DO wish you would make a separate Journey forum--after reading the other "Please Note" thread I got sad and really pined for the old Journey forum where it would be about the music, the band, that kind of thing... I know, I know, I usually skip right over all the silly (to me) threads but I read the Please Note one out of duty... Please, please consider making a Journey forum again so those of us who enjoy reading/discussing the music can go hang out there...

If I'm not mistaken, it's a reference to a British comedy show from the 70's, Fawlty Towers. A local kid was always rearranging the letters of the hotel sign and one of the names was Flay Otters. Well done Andrew!

What a great episode.

This.. is.. typical. Absolutely typical.. The kind of... ARSE, I have to put up with from you people. You ponce in here expecting to be waited on hand and foot, while I'm trying to run a hotel here. Have you any idea of how much there is to do? Do you ever think of that? Of course not, you're all too busy sticking your noses into every corner, poking around for things to complain about, aren't you? Well let me tell you something: this is exactly how Nazi Germany started! A lot of layabouts with nothing better to do than to cause trouble. Well I've had fifteen years of pandering to the likes of you, and I've had enough. I've had it. Come on, pack your bags and get out...

My favourite show in the world....EVER!

And a HUGE inspiration for my own fictional writings...which are moving slower than a dead dingo in the Simpson Desert.

It takes a very specific ability to embrace the random to be able to really enjoy it and "get" it.
Being one of the masters of random, I've always "got" it.

My sister and I were totally addicted to "Absolutely Fabulous" when Comedy Central used to show it.

I was with a guy for awhile who didn't "get it" ("how can you watch this? it's NOT funny!") and for that reason, I still haven't seen The Full Monty all the way through. Couldn't hear the movie over his bitching about how he didn't understand what they were saying.

See it! Love that movie; I still giggle at the 'groove' scene in the job centre, and I've seen the movie maybe a dozen times.
Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

I don't care if its on top, but there has to be a Journey Forum. I think the poll says it all.
