Actually, with all due respect, I don't think Journey deserves a forum here. AFAIK, they've treated Andrew like shit for years....they've hung out alot of people to dry, some right here.

I thought it might have been better if these boards were without a Journey forum for a while...and personally, I found this place loads more fun and entertaining without the overhanging 'Journey' tag at the top of the page.


Not complaining here...just stating an opinion. I think a good rest from this band was needed by all...and I think the band needed to rekindle it's relationship with Andrew/this site in a way that was healthy. The way to do that was for Andrew to tell them to pound sand for a few months and for them to realize that mr.com provides a valuable channel to die-hard fans on the internet.

But regardless, it is what it is....I'm sure most/some people are happy. I'm not here to piss in their mouths as they cry out in joy.....so please don't take it that way, gang. Just stating my peace.

Let's hope that Manilla dvd doesn't suck.....

The thing is all the same Journey topics were still being discussed by the die-hards, nothing different, just not the name at the top. Now if Andrew had deleted Journey topics and said no more, that's different, and would definitely have been a rest from the band.

Well, yes and no....When there wasn't a Journey board here...and it was just wfo for anything, there was less of a stigma. I for one, found these boards far more entertaining and light hearted. Journey tends to be an opressive force on a msg board...

So while, technically, it didn't change much...I think there was enough of a subtle change to make this place better.


Again, Andrew can do what he wants...and this is what it is. But I thought this place was better off without those evil 7 letters at the top of a forum...for at least a long while...
