I am so happy they put the whole concert out. Great news. I would prefer it on one also, but no biggy.

Me too. I was really concerned about the way TDTWT sounded on the Youtubes and felt that it might not make it onto the DVD. Glad it did, can't wait to see how it sounds.

That's what I was thinking. Doesn't take long to duck into the studio to correct a few issues before the DVD release. From all accounts, the Manila DVD won't have to have the overhaul that the Arrival 2001 DVD did. The YouTube videos sound very, very good.

Agreed. It annoys me having to switch DVDs midway through the show. But that's a very minor complaint. I'd rather have it on two DVDs and get the full show, rather than one DVD of a thrown together 60-minute clip show like the Revelation DVD.

But in a perfect world, the entire two hour-plus set would be on one DVD, and a second disc would be included that is an audio CD of the show. 8)

It wouldn't have cost more to pack it on one disc, and you could pack in a nice booklet with the additional space vacated by the second plastic disc holder if you don't want to throw in audio CD. This is just marketing, making you feel you got more by spreading it onto two DVDs.

I don't know which videos you listened to but I thought most of them sounded like crap. I blame that on the recording though.

I can't wait for this, great news to hear it's a whole show. I just skimmed the release really quick, but I didn't see anything about any bonus features... I would love to have some rehersal footage or a "tour Neal's guitar rig" extra. But I guess Journey isn't really known to be a band that caters to musicians like other bands who have included features like that [Dream Theater for one].

Well, asshat ( :twisted ), 1) I've still never watched the one from Revelation, even though I was there for the taping. 2) I could care less.

Don't sass me young lady! :x  You're really missing out!! So do you just not like music dvd's in general, or these two specifically? Curious minds must know... :D

I was talking about Arnel's vocals, not the piss-poor YouTube videos. The point was raised that any problems with TDTWT could be fixed in the studio. And I replied that if they headed to the studio to fix a few minor things, it would be a quick trip because Arnel sounded very good from what I can tell on the YouTube videos. It wouldn't be a major studio overhaul like for the Arrival 2001 DVD.

I love music DVDs, just not interested in Journey 2009 on DVD. If they release Mountain Aire, I'll gladly drop billage on that. As that does interest me.

Well you're still cool in my book, so I'll let that slide... I'm really excited about having "What I Needed", "Turn Down The World Tonight", and the new version of "Separate Ways" more than anything! I can't WAIT to hear these songs after the rough videos I've seen on Youtube. They're going to be awesome!!! :D
