I remember reading on MR's front page.......that Canadian Daniel McMaster (the lead singer in that Wait For You video) passed away from a Strep Infection last year.....he was only like 40 I think. Great voice.

Wow, I haven't heard that one in forever! I have that old album in a box in the garage. Need to look at getting cd's of some of those old 70/80s albums I have out there. Good stuff, thanks!

I used to have tons of albums and 45's but I gave them away to a friend a long time ago who was collecting. I kinda miss hearing music on vinyl.
Do you still have a record player? Remember those little box ones with a lid?
When I was a kid I had one that was hot pink and had 70's flower power stickers all over it.

When I was a kid I had one that was hot pink and had 70's flower power stickers all over it.

LOL, ya, still have the stereo/record player me and my ex first had over 20 years ago, along with those monster big floor speakers (which are long gone). We didn't have a lot of furniture when we first moved out but we did have a kickass stereo for back then. I'm sure it doesn't work anymore or at the least needs a new needle. Just haven't gotten rid of it yet (you know, those boxes that have moved with you that you really need to get around to going through ). I remember my brother flipping through the box of records when he came over to fix my garage door opener.......we had a blast flipping through them and I forgot I had some of those old picture discs (at least a couple are Bon Jovi's ), remember when those were all the rage? And he told me the Poison album I have might be worth something, cuz somehow I have the banned album cover (tongue) one?

Who needed furniture? All we needed was a great stereo! In the 80's I had a rack of stereo components ...equalizers, all that...and speakers so big that my living room looked like a concert stage. Who knows...you may have a treasure trove out in the garage!

it was 1976.. i wanted to know what "green" chilie was .. ive never eaten green chile again..
