I think both teams will have good seasons, but Baltimore isn't close to being "under the radar"! They've had one of the best defenses in the NFL for many years and everyone knows who they are and what they're about, so they're not sneaking up on anyone. Let's not forget that these same Ravens actually won a Super Bowl with Trent Dilfer. Now they actually have a QB with the same solid defense. I wouldn't be stunned to see them win their own division if Flacco keeps playing well. After yesterday, I'm not sure the Jets are going to sneak up on anyone either. It's a VERY long season, so who knows what's going to happen. I do think that the Jets and Ravens both have very good football teams and in my opinion, they're both teams who could get into the playoffs. I think that only Baltimore will be a force to be reckoned with, if they get into the playoffs.

Baltimore and the Jets are showing early season thumping and deserve to go into week 3 pounding their chest. Flacco just has that IT factor and will just get better from here on out. Flacco throws one of the best deep balls in the league and that will always keep a defense on its heels. Baltimore's defense has lost a step, but they will play hard ball on every down. If you look at last year, All 3 games against the Steelers were decided on the final drive or drives of the game and decided by 7 points or less, they are bound to at least split with us this season, and if things play out, the Steelers/Ravens rivalry will just enter new heights in their Week 11 matchup. It's going to be a great season to see how everything takes form.

What more can you say about Rex Ryan and what he brings to the defensive side of the football? The man's a master mind and brought in that Raven's type mentality, plus bringing in Bart Scott. As long as Sanchez can keep the motor running and not make the mistake, the Jets could go far. It's all about finish in the NFL.

The Packers STUNK IT UP big time... it could be a long year... and if Brett beats the Packers in a couple of weeks...oh boy...

Glad that the Jets beat the PATS... surprised the Bears beat the Steelers for sure...
and why did the Chargers try and run against Ray Lewis at the end of that game???

Last week the Packers were going to the Super Bowl.. relax it's one game! They lost a shoot out against a Bengals team that has weapons in their passing offense. Green Bay forced turnovers, but couldn't get it done in a shoot out. They will get back to the drawing board and fix what needs to be fixed and will still contend in the division.

That call at the end on 4th and 2, running it up the gut in the teeth of the Baltimore defense was he worst call in all of football yesterday. Not only that, but they didn't even pick up Ray Lewis coming back side! How can you not account for Ray Lewis? Terrible call that cost them the chance to win the game. We don't know what we have from teams as of now, but nothing is decided in Week 2, that's for sure.

The Dolphins are pulling a Michael Myers on the Colt's defense, completley shredding and slicing and dicing them up and down he field. I think Miami completed about.. 50 out of 54 3rd downs and it's all knotted up at 13 all. That Colt's defense is so tired I can feel my legs shot up with jello. 3rd Qrt Colts only ran 3 plays. This is domination.

Manning will be Manning. Pennington has a little over 2:00 to get the job done. I hope they score quick, or go 3 and out here, and get the ball in Manning's hands because I need a lousy 6 points from Peyton to beat Prog in Fantasy.  Not gonna happen. Going to be a nice 50 sec finish.

This is one of the worst two minute drills I've ever seen in my life! Pennington is fucking CLUELESS out there and doesn't seem to quite grasp the concept that the clock ticking down while he's taking his sweet ass time isn't a good thing. What a fucking dope!

Talk about stealing one! The Colts held time of possession for about 15 minutes all game. Wow what a choke by Miami.

They wasted about 20 sec trying to line up and ended up calling a timeout anyway in which a Colt player was down, so they wasted precious time in a SLOP 2 minute drill. Can't believe they choked it away like that. :!:

Peyton is incredible. Eli is getting there. What a football weekend ! Their father Archie, never seemed to be that good. Tonight was a great game. I remember the years of Czonka,Kick and Warfield, oh and Bob Griese. Those were great years. Then Marino gave that city excellent football. I saw Bill Parcels and they are on their way again. Luckey Miami to have a real GM !

Eli is definitely getting there. He laid in some beautiful passes Sunday night. He had great protection and Dallas' pass rush was nonexistent.

Indianapolis cashed in on major splash plays and that's what separated themselves from Miami. Miami dominated in all phases, but just couldn't put the ball in the endzone. Peyton Manning just needs 15 minutes to score 27 points & is just awesome to watch. Indianapolis's defense is TREACHEROUS and is a complete trainwreck. Tedd Ginn needs to catch that ball, game over at that point. Miami will be hurting for sometime after this loss, they did everything they could and still came up short.

Eli was calm and cool in the most crazed moment of the game. I was shocked how he handled not only that pass rush, but that crowd noise of 105K +. He held his composure and delivered time after time. He's getting better each time I see him play.

Haha dude relax, Chicago's win serves no purpose other than a little dingleberry. Steelers crush Cinci, but I can understand the excitement since Cincinnati's last win against Pittsburgh was in the Mid-evil days. Ben has never lost in Ohio BTW.. EVER.

That's because he wasn't that good. He only threw for more than 20 TD's one single time in a 13 year career and doesn't rank in the top 50 for passing yards in NFL history. To be fair to Archie, he spent most of his career on HORRENDOUS Saints teams, and he NEVER played with guys half as good as his sons have played with. While I would never take anything away from a guy like Joe Montana, you still can't ignore that Montana spent his career throwing the ball to the best receiver in the history of the NFL. Having talent around you makes a world of difference and sometimes makes you look a bit better than you would look otherwise! Archie NEVER had any talent around him.

Of course they do. Tennessee doesn't really have a choice now, do they? Going to the Meadow Lands is a challenge enough, but Tennessee is a couple points here and there away from being a 2-0 football team, and I think they will bounce back sooner or later, and sooner or later HAS to be this week. The matchup is obviously Tennessee's offensive line versus the pressure of Rex Ryans defensive front and blitzing scheme. Tennessee, esp last year, was one of the best teams in the NFL protecting their Quarterback, and they won many games because of it.

If they can find a way to slow down that pass rush and get a nice fluid running/draw game going, then they can put some points up on the board, but they MUST come away with points and capitalize against a defense like Ryan's. Tennessee I would imagine is hoping to catch the Jet's D too aggressive and possibly hit some nice intermediate balls if Collins gets the time. Tennessee's defense should rebound and is better than NE's, who only gave up 16 last week.

SUN, SEP 27 TIME (ET)
Washington at Detroit 1:00 PM

Green Bay at St. Louis 1:00 PM - St Louis may not win a game this season, so Green Bay wins this one

San Francisco at Minnesota 1:00 PM ***UPSET SPECIAL*** I loved Singletary as a player and love him as a coach. Shaun Hill is VERY quietly 9-3 as a starting NFL QB and I like the 49'ers to pull off the upset

Atlanta at New England 1:00 PM

Tennessee at NY Jets 1:00 PM

Kansas City at Philadelphia 1:00 PM

NY Giants at Tampa Bay 1:00 PM

Cleveland at Baltimore 1:00 PM - Cleveland continues their incompetence and loses yet again

Jacksonville at Houston 1:00 PM - Delrio takes one more step toward being fired and Houston wins!

New Orleans at Buffalo 4:05 PM -New Orleans and Drew Brees just keep on rolling!
Chicago at Seattle 4:05 PM

Miami at San Diego 4:15 PM

Pittsburgh at Cincinnati 4:15 PM - Pittsburgh wins this one easy

Denver at Oakland 4:15 PM

Indianapolis at Arizona 8:20 PM

MON, SEP 28
Carolina at Dallas 8:30 PM - Dallas wins and Bill Cowher gets a bit closer to his next job as the head coach of the Panthers!

[quote="Enigma869"]SUN, SEP 27 TIME (ET)

Washington at Detroit 1:00 PM : Upset: Detroit hands it to a bad Washington team that has looked nothing like an NFL team that itches to win the past couple weeks. At least Detroit is scratching and clawing their way back to football 101. Detroit gets their first win, at home since........ Detroit by 4.

Green Bay at St. Louis 1:00 PM -

San Francisco at Minnesota 1:00 PM

Atlanta at New England 1:00 PM

Tennessee at NY Jets 1:00 PM - Not giving up on Tennessee.. yet. Their backs have never been put up against the wall this early the past couple years and with the past two weeks losing by a margin of a few points, I think they get back on track in the Meadow Lands, esp after the Jets are coming off an emotional win against the Patriots. They are due for a letdown. Titans need this more than ever this week. We'll see if they respond to the scrutiny. Tennessee by 11.

Kansas City at Philadelphia 1:00 PM

NY Giants at Tampa Bay 1:00 PM - Giants beat up on a Tampa team that needs to get things straight under a new regime. Giants by 20.

Cleveland at Baltimore 1:00 PM -

Jacksonville at Houston 1:00 PM -

New Orleans at Buffalo 4:05 PM - New Orleans wins this one, again.. by a wide margin, but Buffalo plays hard. Saints by 17.

Chicago at Seattle 4:05 PM

Miami at San Diego 4:15 PM

Pittsburgh at Cincinnati 4:15 PM -

Denver at Oakland 4:15 PM - Denver is the worst 2-0 in the league, & has had the privileged of a miracle last second play, and going up against a pop warner in week 2 against the Clowns. Even though they are still a team that probably will derail late in the season, Denver goes to 3-0 simply because Oakland has a piss poor bust running the controls at QB. Their defense, however, is making a statement thus far.
Denver by 6.

Indianapolis at Arizona 8:20 PM - Arizona pulls it out at home, to where I always said is the one of the toughest place to play in Prime-Time and in the spotlight. Expect the scoreboard to explode. Arizona by 3.

If you would of shined a laser pointer on that EXACT spot in the back of the endzone, Favre would of pinned the point of the football dead on. THAT'S how nice that pass was. Who said he still didn't have the arm? The old man is, was, and ALWAYS will be a gamer.

His poise under pressure today really transferred well to his teammates. This is an incredible win for the Vikings because it tells Favre's teammates that they can have confidence in him in the clutch. The win and the way it went down makes Minnesota a whole heck of a lot more dangerous this year. If they can continue to play well and possibly wrap up homefield advantage, that place is going to be one loud motherfucker for the opposition in the playoffs. One of the greatest ever adding another highlight reel play to his incredible career.

I'm a Niner fan...have been my whole life...they almost stole this game...Gore goes out after his first carry....they give up a KO return for a TD....Singletary and his total unimaginative play calling....and they have the game won until a perfect pass and a great catch....

Sometimes you just gotta give the other guys credit....

Dude...stop admiring your sack. Almost every so-called "expert" picked Detroit to win this week. While I understand that Detroit hasn't won a game since the world was flat, Washington is a VERY bad football team! They're not as bad as Detroit, but horrendous nonetheless! Thanks to that shitbag Favre, my upset pick tanked this week!
