Of all the shows on the tour, that one song was the one to be at. May not ever happen again so for those that were there, congrats.

Good clip but I hope to see one closer up.

Deen did an excellent job on the Perry part. Arnel gets the media shine but Deen's their secret weapon. Is there anything Hulky can't do? :D

If there wasn't a video clip and just audio, I guarantee you anyone listening would think it was Perry.

I have to say that I really don't rate Rolie as a singer, I have always thought of him as a backing singer at best. I have really tried to like his vocals but I think thats the vocalist in me wanting perfection. Obviosly a lot of you guys like his voice. It was nice to see this sort of reunion with Rolie but I hope it is just left as an occasional apperance. Deen was incredible! Really is what has kept Journey going over the last 10 or so years and the most consistent member since perry left. Love the guy!

Rolie sure as Hell didn't sound too good in this clip. Granted he came off the bench cold, but he cracked a few times. A hoarse Rolie is better than a healthy Cain, but Cain lips his EG song anyways so it doesn't matter.

yes, Marie, quite a night. (would be better with you!!!)

I got the setlist. Deen came to ILAA, said Hi sweetie and kissed me. Arnel held my hand. We were in the RoSs ZoNe, front row. They did Higher Place, Be Good to Yourself AND Just The Same Way. dangit!!!

What a night! I guessed that it was Gregg cuz Linda said that Gregg had recently moved to Austin. I played Mystery Mountain for Jeff, the ILAA host, cuz he had never heard the REAL Journey. hehe I saw Jeff after the show and said "Pay up! I guessed correctly!!" so he took a dollar bill out of his pocket and gave it to me.

I thought I was going to A-Cry B-Pass out or C--soil myself. Gregg Freakin Rolie. dangit

It was an amazing show. wow. I'm not even close to being done. it's gonna take some time to come down. Linda's toast. zzzzzzz.

Did u know that Ken owns one of Neal's SCHON guitar? autographed? schutt!!!!!

oh, and Ricky Phillips walked by. I'm staring at him thinking no way and I just said Hi Ricky. He turned and smiled. sigh.........

Sounds like a fantastic night. Talk about right place/right time. I think I hate you!! j/k

BTW... Happy Belated Birthday. I couldn't think of a better present. :D :D :D

Not being able to name one former president of the USA will not disqualify someone to become a US citizen Some how being a Journey fan will be held to a higher standard.

This is getting ridiculous. And to think I was accused of being misguided. Yeah right

I'll give him benefit of the doubt since it was one song in the middle of the show that he wasn't even supposed to perform at. He sounds just about like always on this one every time Chalfant shows up, so it could be anything from no warmup/coming off cold, humidity (or lack thereof), a/c, slightly under the weather, etc. I don't think he's lost anything.

They got you on this one. If it had been an obscure song, a demo, you might have an excuse.
As for myself, I know you're an Arnel fan first, so I wouldn't expect you to know all the songs. It's your brethren who go around crowing about being true Journey fans, who didn't know this tune that look silly, especially considering there are only a handful of Greg/Steve Collaborations.
