You have a lot to learn about football, my friend! The three games that Baltimore has won are against teams who are a combined 2-10. The 3 wins that the Patriots have are against teams with a combined record of 6-5 and two of the three teams they defeated had a winning record! Baltimore hasn't defeated a single team with a winning record!

I watch a lot of NFL football, and they're the best team I've seen in the AFC thusfar, and I believe that they'll win their division easily, at this point. The Ravens are SCARY good and are the class of their division, and probably the entire AFC right now. As a Patriots fan, I'm just glad they beat a solid Atlanta team this week, because the Ravens are in town next week, and I'm already putting it in the "L" column! At least even after that loss, they'll only suck as bad as Shitsburgh does![]()

I pretty much agree on some points. I feel the Chargers aren't as nearly as good as their record, and Tennessee is losing tough battles week in and week out. Pittsburgh has a lot of things to work on, including finishing football games. They start the game looking to route, then somewhere along the way, stall to let a team back in it, esp in the 4th quarter. Denver is the worst 3-0 team in all of football and the Jets are finding early success with a defense that brings heat from every angle.
The Ravens I'm not completely sold on. Yes, they look like the best all around team in the AFC, but they were taken to the wire in Week 1 against a terrible Kansas City team, won on a last second 4th down stop last week against a decent at best Chargers team, and beat up on a Pee Wee football team in the Browns today, but you can't deny their style of football. I think this week New England's offense will put major, major pressure on a Baltimore team that needs to face an opponent worthy of beating them.

Honestly, every week in the NFL things need to be evaluated. If you read my predictions for this past week, I explained why I thought the Patriots would beat Baltimore and they did. I still think Baltimore is a very good team and their offense is absolutely for real! They may even be better than the Patriots are by the end of the season. I'm simply saying that after 4 weeks, the Patriots are the better team, regardless of what your method of evaluation is! I've predicted all four Patriots games correctly (including their loss to the Jets), so for all of you degenerate gamblers...I'm telling you that for the third weekend in a row (next Sunday), the Patriots will hand an undefeated team their first loss of the season!

Throwing out who beat who, and records alone, I STILL think that Cinci will be in the middle of the pack this year and they just aren't that great of an overall team. They aren't going wiggle their way through the NFL season like they did the past two weeks every week. At one time, the Browns held them to just 30 yards and the Steelers held them to just 10 yards through 2 Qrts. Cincinnati is winning on 4th down conversions and if you think good teams have to come to that point week in and week out, and expect them to win like that every week when getting dominated statistically then you might want to re-think how things work. Cinci is not a good 3-1 team and that's why I have them below many teams who I just think are better, regardless of record.

That's copin' out and taking the high road. I'm talking about the big picture. Look at the way the Bengals have won/played the past few weeks..they aren't what you call a dominating team that teams should fear and worry about at this point. Yes, they are winning, and are sitting 3-1, but I expect that record to start closing in on them as the season progresses and slowly but surely, "Tuna's" theory will remain true as I think Cinci will own the record they deserve and that'll be the result of poor play. They got lucky the past few weeks and came out on the winning side of teams who shot themselves in the foot! It'll catch up to then, guaranteed, starting next week!

Ok Trav....I can't figure out by your response if you agree or disagree with my statement? You start off by saying it is a 'cop out', then you basically make my point by the end. WTF?

Enigma869 wrote:Even though it pains me to admit it, I actually agree with Travis about the Steelers being better than the Bengals. I certainly don't agree with all of his "power rankings", but I would also rank the Steelers ahead of Cincinatti. While the Steelers aren't nearly as good as Travis thinks they are...they're simply a better team than the Bengals and at the end of the season, their record will prove that!
