Neal's Solo In Open Arms On Manilla DVD

Postby perryswoman » Fri Oct 09, 2009 3:55 pm

That is the bomb. I'm really into haunting melodies such as send her my love and what I needed but I love that solo in open arms. I keep thinking about what he said when Perry and Cain wrote it. "well what am I suppose to do in that song?" Looks like he figured it out!!
Come back Steve Perry!!

I know what you mean. Neals solo on this takes me from being sick of it to enjoying it again. :D

I miss hearing Send Her My Love live, was hoping it was going to be on the manila dvd. Definetly one of my favorite journey power ballads.

He can make a solo fit a song like a glove better than anyone.

Yes Send Her My Love is my all time favorite Journey song! I was so sick of Open Arms I could not stomach hearing it again though and his solo makes it for me now. I think Perry would be impressed himself!
