That's what the remastering and release on the Blu Ray special edition will fix.

Are you sure that's going to happen? I'd hope so, if they filmed it in such a manner. So there's going to be another release?

Nobody knows if and when, but I read that this was produced in Blu Ray quality to future proof it. I take that to mean it should get released that way eventually.

Absolutely. I didn't know this was in the setlist, and what a great surprise when they performed it. Loved it.
They did seven Revelation songs in this concert.

Yeah I'm completely blown away by AP with this song. I just can't believe how great his voice is after all these years he's been singing. And to think a doctor was telling him just a number of years ago that he couldn't be singing well again. Whatever he's done to keep his voice going, it's working. This song is one of those that AP does where I'm thinking he's better singing now then he was when he was in his early 20s.

I was lucky enough to see the London Apollo show with AP in 2008 (same show that Jimmy Page was at) and had a front row ticket thanks to some great folks in the UK. One of those venues where you get to stand right up at the stage.
When AP did WDILYL, I was probably the only one who knew the words since Rev had just been released in the UK. Anyway, while I was belting out the lyrics, AP got down on his knees and sang a good part of the song right into my eyes and nobody got a picture.![]()
Oh well, still a nice memory, but I've loved that song ever since. It's unbelievable how tiny AP really is and boy was he shy. He's definitely grown in his role as Journey's frontman.
I just don't know why they didn't keep this in the set list last year.
I wish I was better at youtube but they played it in Denver too.

Actually I'm just trying to make Chubby and Isla jealous.

I read/heard that Arnel doesn't eat/drink anything that he deems bad for his voice during concert season; no sweets, no cold drinks, etc.
His life is a classic example of "against all odds" and his perseverance paid of in the end.
When the world says, "Give up,"
Hope whispers, "Try it one more time."

Yeah, I know a bunch of the voice saving technics he was pretty much forced to practice in the 80's, cause I had to do them also in 94' when I was singing over there in the Philippines.
Most importantly, no alcohol and no smoking. Those two items right there will mess the voice up fast. There are a lot of preventive measures as well.

Booze is good for your voice, just ask the guy who runs karaoke at my favorite bar![]()
