Has anyone had dreams that actually come true within a short while?

About a year ago, I woke up finding myself urinating in a dresser drawer. Another time, I found myself standing naked in my driveway emptying my bladder on my SUV with the intention of walking over to a neighbor's house (a single & hideous-looking woman). These were surely some days I needed to be strapped down to my bed.

I'm LMAO! Are you sure you're not my ex-hub? Years ago, I caught him almost ready to piss on the living room sofa. He had gotten out of bed staggered out to the living room and lifted the sofa cushion (must have thought it was the toilet seat) and was just about to go.............

Don't they (guys) all do that at some (drunken) point? I caught mine years ago going to the kitchen, taking the garbage can out from under the sink, pulled up a chair and started to piss in the garbage can before I yelled 'what the fuck are you doing???' Never happened again    I had a friend whose boyfriend used to pee in a dresser drawer regularly - she finally emptied it so she at least wouldn't have to worry about that.

I've never pissed anywhere but the pisser (well, ok, i've pissed outside on my way back to places, but always knowing what I'm doing and in an appropriate bush/wooded area/side of shitty college house etc.). And I get drunk. Very drunk.

When I was a freshman in college, I had two roommates, I was gone for the night and I came back and apparently some quiet kid that never said a word for the first two weeks got hammered, came into our room, and pissed all over my roommate's brand new Mac Book

Needless to say, he had to get it replaced.

Haha, nah, it's def. relatively common. Just not with me. I never have gotten sick and lost my booze in the middle of a bar or party either, always get to the toilet when that rare occasion comes up.

Right at the time my marriage was doing a nose dive (for the last time...) I had a funky ass dream, which I had analyzed.

There was a huge old tree that grew up overnight in my kitchen, specifically the breakfast nook. AND there was a huge storm going on, hurricane strength, inside my house. The roots were all showing, and it was difficult to walk through the house, because the roots were all up, exposed, ready to trip you up, scrap you up, etc.

No small wonder the dream analysis came back with:

Trees = stability (mine was uprooted) and in my home (again... no small wonder)

Kitchen = To see a kitchen in your dream, signifies your need for warmth and spiritual nourishment. It may also be symbolic of the nurturing mother or the way that you are caring for your loved ones. Alternatively the kitchen, represents a transformation. (Madonna..that's me)

The hurricane = "To see a hurricane in your dream, indicates sudden and/or unexpected changes occurring in your life. You may be experiencing some destructive and powerful emotions. To dream that you are swept up in a hurricane, suggests that both your mental and emotional forces are building up inside and making themselves known. You may be literally consumed by your emotions. Alternatively, the dream could indicate that you are pressured and pushed against your will toward something you do not want to do." I was fighting like crazy to keep that marriage going (raised when you get married you stay married).

Roots = To see plant or tree roots in your dream, symbolizes the depths and core of your unconscious mind and soul. It represents your values and belief system. Alternatively, it denotes your family ties and bonds. You may be searching into your past. Or perhaps you need to get to the root of some problem in your waking life. meanings by DreamMoods.com

Truly amazing what the subconscious pulls up. We split about 2 weeks after this dream.

LOL! I know what you mean - I had a dream not long ago about Bono and I don't even like him! (or should I?) ;)
All my dreams are weird so I TRY to foget them...I also have the same recurring dreams: I am at school and can't get my locker combination right or I forget that I was suppose to be in a math class all semester and just remembered at the end...or I never graduated from college 'cuz I forgot a required math class (I swear I am gonna hang my diploma next to my bed - hmmm, must be something about numbers?)...or I find myself in a car, it's an emergency, and find that it is a stick shift and I am trying desperately to figure it out (never learned how).

I can't say that actually happens, but specific things I see in my dream usually turn up either that day, or the next. For example, I dreamed one night I was walking through a festival of some sorts, and at a distance, I saw Mickey Mouse on stage performing for children. That next day at school, I saw some girl walk past me with Mickey Mouse sweatpants. It was a really tiny logo on her thigh, it was a Mickey Mouse head with a big red circle behind him, like a light of some sort.

Another time was when I dreamed that me and my brothers long lost best friend came over, and we were eating some sort of Dorito and talking about why we never get together. That next weekend, I found out that he is a manager at Cotso's because I seen him checking out at customer service. Pretty weird. I def see things on an everyday basis that I've seen in my dreams in one form or another.

Sadly enough, and unfortunate for me, I never really have any sex dreams, and when I do It's usually for 5 or so seconds and then something drastically happens to which prevents me from doing the deed in my dream. It's usually someone coming in the room, or knowing I can't get it done because we are in a setting to where we can't but both of us want to. The small portion of sex dreams I do have end up with me getting cock blocked. Real nice.

Being asked to sit in with Journey, guitar in hand, on stage ready to go with the boys and then realizing when the curtain opens (I guess I was back in my schools auditorium) that I don't know how to play the guitar. I'm not making this up. Weird.

Worst reoccuring...in a commercial plane that can't gain altitude and they have to land on a road/highway. Also, sometimes they land on a road and end up trying to taxi down the highway to the airport. Somehow we make it under overpasses. These are slow motion nightmares. I travel a lot but never have a fear of flying. Weird.
