Scary stuff happening right now over Ft. Collins, Co. A little 6 year old is in a homemade hot air balloon flying over the city. The balloon has a flimsy plywood base, so it won't withstand a crash landing.

Prayers would be good right about now. CNN has on live.

those rescue workers just stood there at first.. they didnt know how to get in the dang thing...

That's what I'm hoping, hopefully he's at his playmate's house eating ice cream or something. by the way, why wasn't he in school? It's Thursday at 1:50 there now minus whenever he allegedly got in the thing? :shock:

Now, they're saying maybe he was never in and maybe took off hiding b/c he thought he was in trouble for releasing this thing and the sibling may not be telling the truth. But how could they not have determined that earlier from the sibling? The thing was in the air for way over an hour. I don't know how old the sibling is, though. I hope that's the case and he didn't fall out. These newscasters are just rambling and throwing out worthless stuff.
