Can't imagine him without the drums to hide behind. :)

If anyone sees it let this guy know right away.

It only happened once, during Augeri's last show. I've yet to see any footage of him out front from that show. The only song I've seen from that show is DSB. Poor Stevie.

I was there and saw it that night. If I remember right, he really only came out from behind the drums for Faithfully and Open Arms, maybe one more? He wasn't hopping all over the stage like Arnel - he was fairly still compared even to Augeri. But he was perfectly confident in his stage presence. His roadie took over drums, I believe. All the other songs that night Augeri would try to sing and when his voice gave out, he's just kinda point to Deen and Deen would take over from behind the drum set.

I know I've seen some of "Lights" on Myspace or youtube from that night, but don't have the link handy.

On ballads like Faitfully and Open Arms Arnel stands almost in one place the whole time except for walking a little bit to different areas maybe, definitely not
hopping all over on such songs

I remember Deen saying he has stagefright and is very uncomofrtable on stage and could never do it permanently; that he loves
being behind the drums. I've looked and have never been able to find a video of him out front, but I was never sure which shows he did it. but I would
love to see it too.

I know I have looked all over the place for the video of him out front. I know he is really only comfortable behind the drums which is why I really wanted to see it. He is such a talented guy!!
