Hey, not all country music artists sound like that chick. I would love to hear Vince cover "Faithfully."

Vince Gill

I own little country and no Vince Gill music, except was given a Christmas CD of his years ago. I love, love, love it. Really beautiful and some unique songs on there also.

I've been listening to him since his Pure Prairie League days. Amazing singer, songwriter & guitarist and a really funny guy. Sad to say I've never seen him live.

oh LORA!! put that at the top of your list!!! he's amazing LIVE-his recording don't do him justice! and he shreds!! A LOT!! and he's awesome at it!!

yeah, I kinda like Vince Gill.

For A Lifetime has got some really nice tracks on. I haven't listened to it for a while, but the title track and "A Day To Remember" (written for Neal's wedding as I recall?) is beautiful. Most of the rest of it leaves me cold, but you can't fault his musicianship.

I quite enjoyed most of Where I Live. "Between a Heartache and a Song" and "Fragile World" are probably my favourites, but "Letting Go" and "Can She Say" have a lot of charm too.

I heard Cain was performing Man's Best Friend and another new song called "Second Chance" (?) at some live solo benefit shows a while ago. Does anyone know if there's a studio version of Second Chance?

As for his voice - no, it ain't great, but he can carry a tune. He reminds me ever so slightly of John Wetton at times in terms of his tone (if not his ability).

I'd love to see Jonathan do a solo vocal album with guest vocalists. He did a bunch of tracks with Eric Martin at one point and a couple by Gene Miller (Fake ID). There was a nice track called "I'm Telling You Now" (or something similar).

Thanks,

- Danny.
