The Perry forum's downstairs, bro, with no activity as usual b/c it ain't no fun preaching to the choir. Brywool, Jana, Since 78 & others have made valid points in this Journey forum about the band Journey. I don't see why the Perry fans continue to come in here just to piss on their parade. All are welcome if they respect the "home" their visiting, but I don't see why the Perry fans continue to hang out here in the Journey forum when they have a forum of their own. Isn't that what Andrew created it for? I go downstairs every so often to joke about the Perry pics, but I do so outta love & I try not to say anything with malicious intent. I'm only razzing the ladies & they know it. (I hope.) I've made it a rule for myself to play nice downstairs b/c that is Perry's "home," just like this is Journey's "home."

The Journey forum has always been this way with debate from both sides of the table. This forum encompasses all the singers of Journey, not just the latest addition.

Why are you making this personal? That last line was a cheap shot & you know it. I never complained to Andrew about anything or anyone. If you’re referring to that homophobic situation from about a month ago, I answered the questions Andrew asked me, but HE wrote to ME, not vice versa. We can discuss this topic further if you like, but not this very minute b/c I don’t want to veer off the original topic.

Back on point: Why are you quoting Andrew’s “Welcome to the Steve Perry forum” post? Didn’t I just say that Perry fans are welcome in the Journey forum? I never said you & the others were not welcome here. For the record: I mentioned the refrigerator story ONE time. SteveW2 referenced it in a couple of post since then & I addressed his comments/questions & moved on. As for the gerbil/farm comment: I don't "flaunt" my sexuality any more than the ladies in the Perry forum flaunt their attraction to Perry or Deb flaunts her attraction to JSS .... none of which I mind, btw. I’m just making a comparison. ever since i've been on mr the jrny forum has been all encompassing. andrew created a perry forum a while back to separate the insanity and it only lasted so long. it's great that there are separate forums for us to play in, but to say perry fans are to stay in the perry forum is absurd. i am a jrny fan, not of revelation and beyond, but have been for the pre perry thru the jss tenure. not to go off on a tangent .

seems folks need to lighten up. jrny = drama. if folks want to heap praise on a particular member, including arnel, there are places for that where they can do so without ridicule, this is not that place.

Because Journey's success WITHOUT Perry means that in 2009, Perry becomes less relevant and their hopes of a Journey reunion with Perry are once again dashed.
