I have the cd and it is brilliant.
Easily there best since these days.
This leaves kiss's sonic boom in the dustbin.
Nothing short of excellent.
The track LOVE'S THE ONLY RULE IS THE SONG OF THE YEAR.

Yes Bobby, but I don't think it will be necesary to compare it with 'Sonic Boom', for me has nothing to do. The song that you mentioned, yes, the best of the album.

Hi..
Im mentioning in terms of quality. As a Kiss fan.people have been saying its the best Kiss album in years.
People must be kidding?Never enough and Danger Us are pretty good songs, altho the first song sounds like Poison's nothin but a good time, but where's the rest of the cd?Its way over rated.
This new Jovi cd will show once again the jersey boys are the most consistent when it comes to making albums.
The album is nothing short of brilliant and so is the documentary. Then you can add in 2hrs 30 mins live, worth of hits, not 30 mins of timewasting solos and you can then see why they are at the top of there game.

I got the disc the other day. I don't think it is the best BJ release by any means, but they seemed to settle back towards their core sound. Though not too many real rockers on the album, it definitely has more of that NJ, KTF, and TDs vibe verses, Crush, Bounce, or HAND. Just my opinion. Not to mention Jon's vocals sound better than they have a for a while. He doesn't sound/sing in such a whiney voice like he has been for a long time. Very mainstream sound which will appeal to the masses and it is obvious after a couple listens what songs will be the singles. Some very radio friendly tracks even in this day an age.

I've had this disc for a few weeks now, and it keeps getting better with each listen. Andrew gave it 70%?! I completely respect what he does, but I think he's off by about 20% on this one. Based on what some other CD's get, I'd say that this one should be around 90%. Go out and get this if you have yet to do so. If you're a fan, you will enjoy it. If you think they have been washed up since 1989, go out and get this, too. You might be surprised at what you hear. Having been a fan of BJ since their second album, this one rocks. No more country crap, re-worked versions of anything or fillers. Just great songwriting and some catchy tunes. I can't wait to hear some of these songs live next summer.

I agree,How Andrew can give this 70 per cent but give sonic boom closer to 90 per cent if way beyond me.
I find at least 9 cracking songs on this cd.When we were beautiful, is one one the best songs ive heard this year .
