Fall Back This Weekend!

Postby SultanOfSwing » Sat Oct 31, 2009 3:22 am

Fall is here and don't forget to turn back your clock 1 hr earlier this weekend, of course with the exceptions of Arizona and Hawaii who doesn't follow DST. I heard from family and friends who lives in the east coast this is their favorite time of year. I think so too. This is gorgeous, I wish we have this kind of fall foliage here in Southern California. 8)

Aside from some rainy patches (to be expected), this has been far and away the nicest October we've had in many years. We've hit the mid 60s and even the 70s several times this month . It's just delaying the inevitable, but it's been a nice reprieve after it started getting really cold pretty early this year in September.

It is indeed a beautiful time of the year when it's not frosting over by October 5

We spent our Thanksgiving last year in Virginia, and the leaves are gone. :( But I love the cold weather :D

It's been gorgeous this year. Driving through the mountains of West Virginia right now and it's a little more sparse, but spent last week in western NC and it was really incredible.

I LOVE fall! But here is what I cannot figure out.....whenever I work nights (which I'm doing now) it is ALWAYS my weekend to work when we "fall back" but NEVER my weekend to work when we "spring ahead." I HATE that...instead of getting an extra hour of sleep I get an extra hour of work.
