Russ Miller "Mod. Drummer" SP Studio mention

Postby TRAGChick » Mon Nov 02, 2009 3:58 am

Hey, all....

Mark subscribes to this mag; we just got it in the mail.....the December Issue of "Modern Drummer" has a profile of Russ Miller - it opens with this paragraph:

Modern Drummer Magazine wrote:When session and touring ace Russ Miller (Christina Aguilera, Steve Perry, Psychedelic Furs) began writing rhythm-based music for his third solo record, Arrival, he never imagined he'd end up with a mammoth three-disc instructional package. But that's just what happened.

So, it seems to me that we should be hearing something.....soon.....maybe......hopefully......

:?

I'm confused. We need more info here. Whose 3rd solo record, Russ Miller's or Perry's? Surely Perry wouldn't name his next CD Arrival  . Could we have a bit more of the article, just to put this whole thing in context, please??? I'm a loon, but I've definitely grown skeptical over the years. :(

Cha-ching. Give the lady a prize.

Come on, peopleses. It's all right there in the first sentence... Miller has a CD coming out so he's being written up all over the place, therefore, nothing has changed from the first time Perry's name was mentioned in conjunction with Miller's. It's the same mention over and over. (and no I don't blame him... lol) Why don't y'all just have one "Russ Miller" thread so there's a place to wig out every time this is mentioned?

(honestly, I kid because I love, guys... I kid because I love... kuuuuuumbaaaaahyaaaahhhh...)
