Guitarist Dave Robinson

This is for my cousin.
I introduced his music once before here but he finally made a video this summer and put it on Youtube so I'm promoting him again.

I had to laugh at the beginning of this since he obviously reads what he has to say in the start  ...but seriously, he is a very talented guitarist who plays all styles of music ...

in this video he plays a classical piece...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S18Ur_ZpOK8

Heres another video he's in playing guitar with Sam Moore in 2000...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tla-k_KMvAQ

To hear more of his music here is his website.....

http://www.daverobinsonmusic.com/index.asp

Thanks for listening! :)

Thanks for him. I'm glad you enjoyed hearing his playing..on his website there are a few songs to hear on the front page and if you scroll down to the bottom there is a link to click for the songs on the CD which I posted about before, for those that haven't heard it. The last time I talked to him he said he was working on putting together another CD but I don't know if he's finished it yet or not.

Thanks, y'all for checking him out. You know how it is with musicians...no matter what they've done before or are doing they are always looking for more gigs and for folks to listen to their work....so whats a family for if they can't do some promotion for their own. :)

There's no spanish or latin in his blood ...not that I'm aware of, anyway.  ...but he has been influenced by that type of music. Although he has played most styles of music and still does.... he has been playing a lot of classical and spanish classical guitar for quite awhile....playing others compositions and writing some of his own.

Yes, he is. Nice of BS to be pimping him. Gene pool apparently got genetically engineered (GMO'ed) at some point.

BS, do you get a commission from this? If you have a family member in show business, can't he get you the Steve Perry info you want?

Does he...Does he... Does he know Steve Perry? ---- AHHHHH ---- If he ever does, I hope he never tells you, for his own sake.

Seriously, you've got to be just about the most moronic individual on this forum. I've never asked him if he has ever met Steve Perry and quite frankly could care less if he has or hasn't because I'm not a Perry "loon" and don't idolize him or anyone else, for that matter. I do appreciate artistic and talented people's abilities though, from all walks of life "famous" or not....and my cousin is one of them so there is the reason for promoting him along with the love and care I have for all of my family members.

Do you play an instrument, sing, write, paint, draw, sculpt, do woodwork, etc......do you have any creativity or abilities at all? If you do then why don't you spend time doing it rather then spend your time in the juvenile and lame pursuit of attempting to harrass people on the internet because this "hobby" of yours,... you are neither creative with or have any real ability for even though any unbalanced child could do it...plus its certainly not an activity you should be proud of nor anyone else will admire you for other then your fellow insane asylum alums. This thread was intended to show someones ability to others and its not something for you to mess with because his guitar playing is his profession...ie; his livelyhood, so I would appreciate it if you would take your rather warped 10 year old mindset trolling elsewhere, mmkay? thanks!

I said your cousin was talented! Was I also supposed to kiss your ass in the process?

 Whatever. Were you, or were you not the individual who incessently harrassed a couple of MR'ers here not too long ago?

One of whom you continually went after, asking personal Steve Perry questions.

"Mmkay" ...and I am a warped 10 year old? Your overly verbose posts are giving me a headache, and I'd venture to guess I'm not the only one.

Seriously though,...aside from all the foolishness being brought into this thread...to get back on topic :

Dave can not only play guitar, he can also play piano, he can read music and he composes as well....so if any musicians are looking for someone with his abilities to collaborate with then contact Dave through the ways provided on his website I linked in the first post or send me a pm if you prefer and I'll pass on the information to him. Thanks for listening!

Hey, was that you that called me last week while you were tuning a piano? I just heard someone hitting piano keys one after another for like 5 fucking minutes on my voicemail. You were tuning Cain's grand piano weren't you? Hopefully, that's all you were tuning!

Do I detect some personal attacks, as in "imbecile?" I'm so overwrought by your comment. Somebody's personality needs tweaking. How can I demonstrate my point when you go about editing posts as if your life depended on it?

Do I want to elaborate on the Steve Perry stuff and the gal you chased all over MR as you questioned her like a banshee? Or another poster you harrassed as you made a rather large fool out of yourself?
