Malone, have a seat in this chair for one second. You're arguing the fact of RETIRED fucking football players.. RETIRED! (Or departed) You have no argument, dude. There's a difference. Troy was only injured for a couple weeks and his presence on the field was missed since what we do defensively is built around strengths of Troy. (This forced us to use a vanilla style defense and change game plan until he came back if only temporary.) Those retired players you speak of were known to retire, and the beat went on and they were replaced before the season and were expected to step in. Brady going down in week 1 gave the Patriots enough time to install a game plan and take pressure off Cassel, who led them to 11-5. They didn't do things MUCH different and Cassel still ran the underneath coverage and the long ball to Moss. His failures in KC prove that the system in N.E benefit the QB no matter who's playing. You see what I'm sayin? Probably not.

As always, it will come down to matchup, location, and weather. The Colts lost 3 major components to their defense this season, one of them being Bob Sanders. The Colts won't survive down the stretch with that depleted of a defense. Polamalu didn't play the majority of the first half and Mendenhall has REALLY came into his own and the Steelers have found their niche in the running game while earlier he was a 6 touch guy and was deactivated in one game for not knowing Assignments. Check the official Game Book, at 10:54 of the fourth quarter. The league's own Game Book credits Hasselbeck with the tackle on a play where the penalty could be valid only if Hasselbeck was not making a tackle!

Three things idiot. #1 The quarterbacks, running backs, and receivers did their job to put A.V in position to WIN THE GAME. If he doesn't make those kicks, then no victory for your cheating Patriots, thus throwing out whatever Brady and his offense did before the fact.
