I'm going to go off record and call out only the Bungle fans and say that the Bungles aren't going to be so lucky this time and that they won't have the fortune of going up against the vanilla defense they had to go up against in Week 3 without Troy, and an offensive that had no running game to where Mendenhall was deactivated. The Steelers will not squander no 4th quarter lead and it WON'T come down to 4th and 10. The Steelers will dominate, just like the first game, and finish just like they have been finishing in recent weeks in dominant fashion. It's November, and Cinci has the privileged of stepping foot in Heinz Field with the division on the line. Not good.

Trav, you just can't help yourself, can you. You just said you wouldn't respond to the NE talk becuase it was incoherent, then in the same breath go on to use the same excuse I was asserting to defend why Pittsburgh will beat Cincy this week....the absense of players.
and don't bother trying to spin your way out of this one, O'Reilly.

Why the fuck didn't you just come out and say that? I absolutely think the Patriots would have won the Super Bowl quite easily last season if Brady hadn't gone down in the first game. Like you said, they won 11 games with Matt Cassel (a guy who didn't start one freakin' college game in his career)! That said, I don't think the guys you're alluding to are the reason the Patriots would have won it all last year!

Just like they won Superbowl 42 "quite easily." The score really never indicated the BEATDOWN N.Y laid on Brady and the Cheatriots. It wasn't even close from a technical standpoint. The Giants whopped ass and this Patriots reign that you still think exists is over. Brady's 2007 season is something that only comes once in a lifetime. There is no way, no how he was going to duplicate that season. To make such an assumption of boy wonder going down in Week 1 and say they would of won the Supebowl easily is nonsense, dumb, and ignorant. Besides, I absolutely think that the Steelers would of still kicked New England's ass in their matchup even with Brady in the lineup. Brady NEVER seen a defense so dominant of last year's Steelers defense, and I feel we would of kicked N.E's ass in any meeting, EASILY. They aren't the 2007 Patriots anymore.
I'm hoping every day we get a shot at New England in the playoffs and snap Boy Wonder's other leg. If the matchup does happen, the Steelers will torment and come after Brady ALL day, and it will be a class act ASS WHOOPING. Bring it John you Brady ball licking son of a bitch. WOOOOO!!!!!

The only thing the Giants defense did was keep the score manageable. Keeping the Patriots to 14 points. It was a fluke catch that won them the game. Oh, that and a gratuitous non-call of holding on Eli's 'Great Escape'.
I see how you fail to mention your latest 2 Stuporbowl 'wins'....easy when you get help from the refs now isn't it?![]()

I'm still amazed that Vinatierri made that field goal under those conditions!

Listen...I think the Steelers are a good team, and considering they have KC, Oakland, Cleveland, and Miami (who is already out of playoff contention) left on their schedule, they will finish the season as a top three team in the AFC. They're a very good team and they have as good of a chance to go to the Super Bowl as the Patriots or Colts do, but neither team is a guarantee. As always, it will come down to matchup, location, and weather. The Steelers won't be the Colts in a playoff game in Indianapolis but I also think the Colts have zero shot of winning a playoff games at Heinz Field in January. Luckily for the Colts, I don't think the Steelers have any shot of being a one seed.

Sorry dude. More idiotic rhetoric spewing from your piehole! Vinatieri gets ZERO shot of winning one fucking game if the QB, running backs, and receivers don't drive the ball down the field and get into position to win the game. This is every bit as logical about your moronic rant of Brady sucking if defensive players are sacking him. That's one of the most idiotic things that anyone could ever say. I've been watching football longer than you've had a fucking pulse and I can tell you that I haven't seen a single QB in the history of the NFL, including your rapist Big Ben, not suck when a defense was in their face and knocking them on their ass. I have zero problem with you saying it and don't even disagree with you, but stop acting like you've invented some brilliant theory. Of course guys suck when 350lb guys are pummelling them! No shit Sherlock! Oh...and one other thing. Stop with the revisionist history about the Giants/Patriots Super Bowl. The "whooping" you're talking about was a game that the Patriots were ahead in with two minutes left in the game. Brady did his job and drove his team down and threw the go ahead TD. It was the defense who didn't do their job and is the only reason they lost the game and deserved to lose the game!

Trav, let me make this crystal clear, ok? When you grow up, and have as many years watching sports as I, St John, or JfromB have, then you can come to the table with something with more credibility as the 'Tuck Rule'!
That call was the right call based on the rule as it was written in the rule book. Perhaps it was a bad call considering the way it went down, but that was the rule at the time.
And this:
the holding penalty against Sean Locklear, nullifying what would have been a Seahawks' first-and-goal on the Pittsburgh 1 in the fourth quarter, seemed a bad call. On almost every Pittsburgh offensive play, a Steelers blocker grabbed as briefly as Locklear grabbed on the down in question; if it was illegal for one team, it should have been illegal for both teams. instead of first-and-goal, Seattle ended up throwing an interception on third-and-long. That interception undid the Seahawks, as they staged a 13-play, 81-yard drive that ended in no points, and undid the Super Bowl itself, converting what might have been a fabulous ending into a lackluster fourth quarter. Seattle faithful also have a legitimate complaint that the fourth-quarter 15-yard penalty on Hasselbeck for "low block" was inexplicable. The rulebook states that during a turnover, neither team may block below the waist. But Hasselbeck wasn't blocking -- he was making the tackle. Check the official Game Book, at 10:54 of the fourth quarter. The league's own Game Book credits Hasselbeck with the tackle on a play where the penalty could be valid only if Hasselbeck was not making a tackle!
and this:
Tuck Rule: Under the rule, a quarterback's throwing motion begins when he raises the ball in his hand and begins to move his arm forward; that motion doesn't end until the quarterback tucks the ball back against his body, making him a runner. If the ball comes loose any time in between, it's an incomplete pass, not a fumble. Only if the quarterback reloads -- and raises the ball again to start a new throwing motion -- can he fumble, as long as the ball is knocked loose before his arm begins to move forward again...

This could be bullshit because his toe could have already been coming up after already being down on the gorund. Just because this mo-mo says "this is when he had possession of the ball" doesn't make it so. Anyway, here's another:
