Favourite Movie Soundtracks

Postby SherriBerry » Fri Nov 20, 2009 7:51 pm

I was posting in Stocktontomalone's thread about the 80s and started thinking about all of the great movie soundtracks we used to get and don't anymore. What are your favourite soundtracks (from any era)? Some of mine are:

Top Gun
Grease
Flashdance
Saturday Night Fever - I know it's disco, but it's still damn good and makes me want to dance!

When I was a teen I listened to the Footloose soundtrack a lot. I still play it now and then

I remember being in, maybe 6th grade at the time (what year was that? 1988?) and going to see it with a friend. Haven't seen it since, except maybe a random 10 minutes of it that was on Comedy Central or something. Absolute CRAP movie. But Dice was big then, and I used to steal my sister's copy of his comedy tape. So I HAD to see the movie.

ABBA , as big as they were, made lots of cheesy songs which made them tons of money. and it doesnt qualify , simply cause 90% of the movie is the soundtrack and vice versa.
The movie was even cheesier than their songs....
