Doesnt qualify, when the fucking soundtrack IS the movie !

It's STILL a soundtrack :P  They TALK in the movie too, DUH!! Did you EVER watch it?? Probably not. Just a "closet" Abba fan   It's listed under soundtracks when you buy the cd

AHEM!
You two DO know that Mama Mia was a Broadway Musical before it was a movie......right????

No, I was born yesterday   That's not the point. Once it was a movie, it had a SOUNDTRACK, which is music directly from the movie. And the BROADWAY show has songs that the movie AND movie soundtrack doesnt', not to mention different actors SINGING.

Exactly.....I was just trying to point out to B why there might be so many songs in that movie.

I said it earlier dick bobbler

Heart's On Fire rocks. So does No Easy Way Out. Rocky IV is one of the best movies of all time. What a way to pull at the audience's hearts by importing the charged political climate of the world at that time but still appealing to all Americans. Awesome.

Nowadays, all we get is this fat slob:

After viewing page 1 with disgust of not a mention, I grew impatient and went straight to 3. My apologies boy lover. Anyway, YES!, Hearts on Fire is that song to have on your ipod when you're about to bench 315 pounds! The notion of Rocky hanging from the ledge and doing swing ups, and lifting the wagon with Tony, Adrian, and Polly in it and screamin DRAGO! is by far one of the best scenes ever. (Rocky II training was fuckin' awesome too. speed, Speed, SPEEEED!) 8)

"He's not a machine! He's a man!"
"He's not human. He's like a piece of Iron."

Rocky and Stallone ALWAYS delivered on music and one liners. Stallone always gave us the best one liners in any film. My favorite in Rocky V: "Hey you knocked him down, why don't you try knockin' me down-'na?"

There are lots of movie sound tracks I like, but I decided to exclude concert movies a la Woodstock or musicals or else my list would run waaaaay long..

Oh Brother Where Art Thou
Harold & Maude
Dead Man
Blues Brothers
Shaft
This Is Spinal Tap
The Graduate
Easy Rider

+2 American Graffiti was awesome - love the 50s!

I forgot about The Wedding Singer, Volumes 1 and 2 and there are some favourites on Almost Famous. I've lost count on how many times I've seen that movie - I wish I could time travel and experience past eras in music. Houston '81 in particular!
