Journey ceased being a "band" after TBF and they're not one today. Journey became a two man vehicle (Friga Fro) with hired guns bringing up the rear.

Had Chalfant been tapped, there's a chance they would've begun a new creative chapter in Journey's career. I'm sure they would've released more than 2.5 albums in 10 years and those albums would've been higher caliber than what we ended up with.

I think it explains the scowling Friga. He knows he sold out. Fro doesn't care, put a guitar in his hand and he's in his element. Pay him to play and he'll go monkey face for ya.

Arrival was a better album TBF and ROR (and I like both of those albums a lot, unlike some). Generations and Rev have their moments... neither has stood the test of time for me save a song or two from each.
