There is a band...

Postby Jeremey » Sun Nov 29, 2009 10:55 am

comprised of eight to ten year old kids that are on the opening card for tonight's show at The Norva. Two little girls and 3 little boys. They sound checked with "Don't Stop Believin'" and it was flat out amazing! We got some video. Trust me, the million plus views those kids got up in Cleveland with "Separate Ways" will be nothing compared to these kids once this hits YouTube.

The little girl drummer hit all the right-handed tom fills and would make Smitty proud. Pretty cool.

The band is called Zig Zag.

I don't have it. Stephen and Gary were lined up with the video cameras, I thought it would have been posted somewhere already....

OK OK i admit it, its my fault, I do have video.

I actually took video of them doing Don't Stop Believin' during soundcheck (they did it just for us :) hehe) i'll post the video either tonight or tomorrow and post a link asap.

Awesome, would love to see it. I heard they seriously kicked ass. Now I'm going back to Quickbooks to figure out why I've reconciled 11 months of bookkeeping and still can't figure out why my books are about a grand off.

Ah, reminds of the time I played at Qwest Field for a Seahawk's Halloween bash and Mini-Kiss ("little people" dressed as KISS) opened the show.
I wish I could say it was 'flat out amazing'. This was just flatout stupid. After about 5 minutes, the joke ("little people" lip synching to KISS songs) was no longer funny and yet sad somehow. It went on for another 55 minutes.

But I digress...

Carry on!
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.
