Well I think the Pats will make it...the Steelers are done...all week they have been saying it was a "Playoff" game...but I saw no intensity out of the Steelers...Superbowl Hangover indeed...

And the weird news keeps piling in... the Browns orchestrated a touchdown drive to open their offensive game this week and Brady Quinn is 6-6 for 62 yards?

They are going to get killed today, but still... strange.

Absolutely NOT! I wasn't a Seymour fan when he played for the Patriots. He's always been a VERY overrated player and is almost never involved in any key plays. The Patriots secondary can't cover ANYONE. Fuck, they made Chad Henne look like Peyton Manning. They can't hold a second half lead, and they can't win on the road...all complete fucking DISASTER signs for the playoffs. I still think their offense can go toe to toe with anyone, but you simply can't compete with anyone with their DREADFUL defense.

Dude if you look closer. I don't think you're even going to make the playoffs. Top 4 teams are in and you have by far the lowest point total of the top 6 teams. You're going to lose this week, and have RumRunners (highest pt total) next week. Should be an interesting final week next week.

give me a break,, Cowboys defense is the most blown up , overrated bunch of numbers in the NFL..

besides that , we have Flozell Adams constantly losing his cool ,,hitting people in the back AFTER halftime starts, purposely tripping

people and causing injuries,

shoot , we have Terence Newman in the corner position.. he should have "burned" written on his jersey...

when Newman gets burned over and over each game,, his statement afterward is always.."we" didnt play well..

beat that :?

Romo has been looking pretty good though..

Dan Marino COMPLETELY torched the Steelers today. He came into the game with a 20 some passer rating. The result against one of the WORST defensive's I've seen in the 4th quarter? Over 100. The Raiders scored 3 touchdowns in the 4th quarter, ALL of 80 yards or more. One of the most PAINFUL games to watch right in front of me since the 2002 loss to the Texans when they had 50 yards of offense. The Steelers defense is completely pathetic that words can't even begin to fathom it. Seemed like I was the only fan into the whole game, I mother fucked the fans sitting on their hands all game and got my section into it before Marino went onto another 80 yard drive. I mean, it was ONLY our season on the line and pretty much a playoff game. The Steelers have shown no sense of tenacity or a least bit of urgency the last 4 weeks. I won't be surprised to see them lose 3 more games out of the 4 after this performance. All I want for Christmas this year is for a Steelers cornerback/safety, outside of all men named Polamalu, to come up and actually catch an interception. That's all I want.

At least Marino made a nice comeback, or was it Gradkowski?

Chad Henne might of looked like Peyton Manning. But it could be worse my friend. They could of made Bruce Gradkowski, Jay Cutler or Matt Cassel look like Bart Starr, Dan Marino, Joe Montana, or Troy Aikmen  Take your pick.

You know it's a special season for the Saints when even Drew Brees' interceptions end up being Saints touchdowns... :)

Perhaps. That said, in spite of the Saints SUPERB performance against the Patriots last week, they have looked sloppy against some bad teams this season. In my opinion, the Vikings are THE TEAM to beat in the entire NFL. Right now, I say the Saints get upset by someone when the playoffs roll around, before reaching the NFC title game. The AFC is coming down to Indianapolis versus the Chargers. Oh, and one other thing...Fuck the FraudBoys who choked away another one. Their buffoon coach is spending too much time on tv during the week telling everyone how great his win/loss record is instead of focusing on coaching his team.

Dude...I didn't say I was completely sold on the Chargers. The reality is that the next big game the Chargers win will be the first one they've won in a generation! Tomlinson sucks and is a pussy who disappears everytime the playoffs roll around. They also have a VERY weak head coach. I like Rivers and think he's a tough kid who can win some games. That said, there is never a team in the NFL who I'm surprised by them losing. This is the one league where teams you're sure won't lose always find a way to lose.

That fucker LT passed Jim Brown up today on the career rush yards list too in our house and in front of The Man himself too. Only in Cleveland.

Why? I think that's pretty spot on. There are so many pretenders in the AFC, so Chargers-Colts seems VERY plausible and the Vikings have just been lights out this year. The best thing for the Saints AND the Colts would be to lose 1 or 2 before the playoffs start. I'm not sure winning today in that epic fashion really did the Saints any favors in the end. It's just hard as that pressure builds week after week.

I know you're a FraudBoys fan, so tell me one thing I said about that team or their coach that is untrue? I predicted that they would begin their annual December dive today and lose to the Giants, and big shock...look what happened! I promise you that the FraudBoys won't win that division. They'll find a way to piss it away like they always do. It's not just a coincidence that this fraud of a team hasn't won a single playoff game in almost 15 freakin' years!

As well you should be. I'm simply telling you to not get overly excited about the Saints beating a VERY bad (as evidenced by the fact that the Saints actually won that game) Redskins team, in overtime!

I just don't see the Saints losing indoors on turf. Maybe Minnesota can beat them in a dome, but no one else. Outside? They seem very average.

It's a great point Dan, and that's why the Saints and the Vikings both look VERY good for the playoffs. Dome teams almost always do well in domes and completely shit themselves when forced to play outside in the elements. Because the Saints are likely going to have home field throughout the playoffs, they may well get into the NFC championship game. They are definitely an offense built for a dome.

I don't know.......Favre and Longwell both playing for Green Bay have played alot outside. The rest of the team, not so much, but this year they've done OK outside (although the weather hasn't been cold yet).
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

John, looks like the Cardinals have to be taken seriously at this point... this is a great performance thus far. They will also be DANGEROUS dome opponents for either the Vikings or the Saints.

Just as long as they beat the Vikings tonight - gives the Saints a two game lead in the NFC...

I don't care if a guy has played outside or not. It's not relevant. A dome team is a dome team. Even though Favre has ample experience playing outside in shitty weather, it doesn't change the fact that their entire game plan of running on the fast track is completely out the window in the middle of a blizzard. It's not just a concidence that dome teams almost NEVER win the Super Bowl. I believe the Colts are the only dome team in the history of the NFL to win it all.
