Neal never cheated after the first divorce. From then on he just fell in love, married, fell out of love, and divorced so he could move on the next one. He's an honorable man.

Um, OK.
But around town, it was well known...when they got home at night
Their fat and psychopathic wives
Would thrash them within inches of their lives!

"Tiger Woods’ wife Elin Nordegren is “incredibly hurt” by his alleged affairs with 7 different women, according to a friend of the model. Grand Slam tennis champ Lindsay Davenport says Nordegren is having a “tough time” dealing with the rumors.

Davenport insists rumors that Nordegren attacked Woods with a golf club are false.”Certainly she did not go after [Woods] physically and go after him with a golf club. That is not what happened. She's incredibly hurt by what has gone on, but she handles herself with class, and she's working it out as best she can,” Davenport tells Entertainment Tonight.

Although she is having a tough time, she's really trying to get through it for the kids [daughter Sam, 2, and son Charlie, 10 months]. What people are saying about her is not what happened,” says Davenport.

"Nobody wants to go through divorce, especially when there's young children involved," Davenport adds. "Her priority [is] her children Sam and Charlie. She's obviously protecting them from the media. Everyone's wish when you get married is to make it work and we'll see if they're able to do that."

Woods is rumored to have had affairs with Rachel Uchitel, Jaimee Grubbs, Kalika Moquin, Jamie Jungers, Mindy Lawton, Cori Rist and Holly Sampson."

Staying together "for the kids" is about the worst thing you can do, especially when they are so young that they won't be directly fucked up by the divorce itself. I'm no proponent of divorce, but this can likely only get uglier... how could you forgive someone for this?

Here's how. She's still in love with the man she thought she was married to and part of her still loves that person. She has two babies, one just had this year. Emotionally it is a lot to think about all at once and deal with. Some people will probably tell her he's a sex addict and isn't looking for love and intimacy with these women, so if he gets help, blah, blah, blah. He'll go in sex addict rehab to save his marriage. That's how. They probably won't last, though, even if they stay together for a while. It's in his best interest to stay married a couple more years for this to die down and save his sponsors and I'm sure he loves his children and doesn't want to lose them. He has a family to fight for. I hope he tries.

Every situation I know like this it just hasn't worked... saw it with my ex-gf's parents. She tried to forgive him, but trouble was, every time something happened, regardless of the subject of the fight, all the old substantial wounds were opened up again. They went back and forth for two years and he finally moved out - then they even tried one more time before finally accepting that the damage was irreparable. I know a couple other families with this situation, but that's the one I observed the longest and closest.

And any reasonable logical person should know that sex addiction is about as phony as a $3 bill... gimme a break. It's called narcissism or megalomania, if anything.

Well, you have to go to Hollywood/Malibu/Palm Springs for those luxurious spas -- I mean, sex rehab centers.

When your desire for sex is greater than honoring and respecting the vow of marriage to the woman that is at home raising your kids you do not need rehab. You need your ass kicked. I really wish she would have beaten him far worse.

You know, this got me thinking... have you ever realized all the excuses that psychiatric medicine has created for shitty behavior in our modern society? ADHD, sex addiction, general insanity, schizophrenia, bipolar, sociopathy, narcissism, oppositional defiant disorder... fuckin list of excuses goes on... 99% of that shit is pure unsubstantiated BS. They can't even prove what chemically causes a lot of these "illnesses."

Finally someone that agrees with me. If she had to read in the Enquirer that he was cheating and two days later catches him texting the woman, I would lose it, too, and I guess by then she had found out about the other one b/c of her phone number on his phone she found. I might not take a club to him, but I wouldn't be classy, like everyone wants her to be, right in the moment with white hot anger either. He's a big boy. She's a little thing. She's not going to do much damage. I just can't equate this instance as being equal to a big man beating up a woman. He had a bloody lip.

Jana, anyone can do serious damage with a fucking blunt force weapon. Maybe she would have killed him if he hadn't run away? Would it still be ok since she's just a "little thing?" Should women not be legally liable for concussing a man by throwing a pot or a plate at him? For stabbing him with a broken glass? For scratching him deep enough to cause scars/possible infection? If I punch a woman in the mouth who is about my size and she has a "bloody lip," should I be ok if she "deserved" it? Taking your size argument to the logical extreme, I'm 5'8, about 170, not the biggest guy in the world... if I go and break a bottle over a 6'9 dude's head and just "cut him up" a bit, is that alright?

Let me guess, give equal rights to the woman only when the end result calls for it and forget it in situations like this, and it's all copacetic, right?

We're never going to agree about this instance, I guess, Matt. No, I don't believe in violence. But she didn't injure him. If she had, then that's different. She lost it in one moment and caused a bloody lip. She was furious. Probably at her limit with him and the texting another woman sent her over the edge. She did more damage chasing him down the road causing him to wreck. But I suspect that wasn't even the case. I think he was on Ambien and passed out at the wheel. I don't know. FHP suspected he was under the influence but didn't have enough evidence to get blood results. Strange he was asleep and snoring when he was laying there.

In this single instance, I just can't equate it to abuse by a female.

You still haven't answered me... if I beat up on a woman a bit, do some minor damage, it's ok by your logic, right? (Edit: if not ok, I'd sure like to hear your reasoning)

Also... some people snore when they are knocked unconscious, so that's a possibility there, so not as strange as you might think (unless it turns out he was hammered, which he might well have been judging by the latest development)

Well, I did have a whacko friend who drove people insane, me included. I could see how she could make someone want to hit her the way she baited people. And her boyfriend, who is a great guy, lost it one night with her and threw his tennis shoe at her, and it hit her in the eye and caused a black eye. he isn't an abuser, but made a bad mistake in the heat of the moment. At least he ended the relationship after that. I ended my friendship with her after a while b/c she was a nut.

I'm sorry, we are not going to agree. This isn't a pattern. She's a little thing that scratched his lip in the heat of the moment. Who-hoo. He didn't even need medical attention. If he wasn't passed out/sleeping there, they wouldn't have taken him to the hospital. I don't get why everyone is trying to turn this into spousal abuse.

So, in sum, domestic violence is okay as long as it's (1) somewhat isolated and (2) doesn't cause overly serious injury? Ok then.

So if your girlfriend, after catching you in bed with someone, scratched your lip and chased you outside, you would turn her into the police for domestic violence?

First of all, I don't cheat.

Second of all, if it turns out she was nuts enough to try and brutally assault me with a blunt force weapon and luckily only slightly injured me, I damn well probably would turn her into the police!

This scratching the lip card you're playing conveniently forgets that she used a golf club. It's not like she took a swipe at his face or slapped him.

Again, let me flip the situation:

If your boyfriend/husband catches you in bed with someone or just gets mad at you for whatever reason that would justify a reasonable person getting very angry, he tried to hit you with a golf club, frying pan, or baseball bat, and luckily only cut you up a bit, would you feel comfortable and safe?

It's the same old double standard... your constant resort to the "she's just a cute little thing" card is red hot evidence of such. Women shouldn't be allowed to assault their partners any more than men can.

I'm a HUGE fan of violence when it comes to problem solving. I have friends that like to make excuses for the way people behave, much like you listed above. It's amazing what a good shot right in the fucking face will do. It works especially well with loud mouths in bars.

My ex-girlfriend's dad was a real asshole and treated his ex wife like shit, his kids like shit and everyone he worked and drank with like shit. He was diagnosed with depression, bi-polar, manic-depressive and a few other things, but when he got the holy hell kicked out of him in the bar I worked at (broken nose, a few broken bones in his face and stomped in the ribs with a bar stool, breaking about 3) his whole fucking attitude seemed to change overnight. He really became gun shy about opening his yapper again. Old fashioned medicine at its finest.

wait, wait, wait. Who said she used a golf club on him. That's the jokes, never fact. It was a scratch, causing it to bleed slightly. She was in the golf cart chasing him and broke the windows with the clubs. If she had used a nine iron on him, there would not have been a scratch in his mouth. There would have been bruises. You're acting like it's fact she did. And if she slapped him, hell, yes, I would have slapped him too if I caught him texting the woman that it was put in the Enquirer he was having an affair with. Absolutely, I would have slapped him, hard.

It's been said that people with a concussion can sleep and snore that way. Explain how he didn't even hit anything hard enough for an airbag to go off yet he was unconscious.....I highly doubt she only scratched his lip but who knows. Who cares. This story is so old by now.

Yeah. My problem is that if women are allowed to knock their men upside the head when they get pissed at them, a good slap or a nice rap to the side of the head should be permissible for men. I don't condone domestic violence from either side of the coin.

They said he didn't have a concussion at the hospital, that he needed no medical attention. And it was on the news tonight that FHP had suspected he was under the influence but didn't have enough evidence to bet a blood sample and they wouldn't agree to it.
