They Didn't Like My Christmas Decorations?

Postby Voyager » Tue Dec 15, 2009 4:05 am

This is a good idea - I may try it next year:

“Good news is that I truly out did myself this year with my Christmas decorations. The bad news is that I had to take him down after two days. I had more people come screaming up to my house than ever. Great stories. But two things made me take it down.

First, the cops advised me that it would cause traffic accidents as they almost wrecked when they drove by.

Second, a 55 year old lady grabbed the 75 pound ladder almost killed herself putting it against my house and didn’t realize that it was fake until she climbed to the top (she was not happy). By the way, she was one of the many people who attempted to do that. My yard couldn’t take it either. I have more than a few tire tracks where people literally drove up my yard.”

That's possibly the greatest and most original idea's I've seen yet. Brilliant and a standing O for the guy that came up with this!

This has been going around for a couple of years. The guy
that came up with it did not want to finish hanging his lights.
Didn't one of these dummies get arrested for
trying to break into someone's home?!?!?

Doesn't it!? :D I have another one I've been wanting to do since I heard it years ago... blue tarp on the lawn to look like water, cut a plastic santa in half, using the top half, put a pool floatie around him... and have santa in a beach theme.

This was told to be by a person who did it and got in trouble with their neighborhood association for it.

Funny one too. Speaking of blue tarps, would you believe there a still a few houses around here with blue tarps draped over their roof from Hurricane Ike damage over a year ago?? Ike came through here in September'08!!

Here's a lame attempt at a copycat prank, but it would be funny if I hadn't saw the first one:
