Looks like Holmgren might be headed to Cleveland to run the football ops side of things.

Supposedly he left town with no deal tonight... or at least talks have concluded for the day.

I think he might be using us as leverage against Seattle to give him the job there to be honest.

Holgrem would be a tool to head out to Cleveland if he has a chance to run Seattle's operations. #1 He's been involved in Seattle's management before and was their head coach for years so he would know the formula to rebuild as far as direction #2 He lives in Seattle and #3 Cleveland is a place where coaches, players, and executives go to DIE. :x

2-11 pal. You DO know that we acquired Arians from Cleveland right? Wouldn't put it past me that that P.O.S put in a game plan to faulter against his formers and get back at them for beating him and his Browns in the 2002 Wild Card game. In that game, the Browns blew a 17 point lead in the 4th QRT because they refused to run the ball and passed it only to not work the clock. Sound familiar?! Arians sucks and is gone. Plus the Browns had the beat the Steelers SOMETIME in this decade, right?

Dude...come on.

Pre-Super Bowl "championships" have about as much relevance as WWE title belts. No one cares except the fans of those teams that HAVEN'T won a Super Bowl.

I'll take the Pats' three titles, with the knowledge that at least 1-2 more will come before Brady retires, and rest on those laurels.

Haha, yeah yeah... who knows. their own fault really, thanks to Derek Anderception.

I know the Pittsburgh fan like the back of a book, I went to college in NW PA... I know these fuckers better than they know themselves. I'm always ready for them, they got the same trash talk material between all of them

The latest NFL rankings have Cincinnati and Arizona ranked ahead of the Pats and Cowboys. I hate the 'Boys with a passion, but they're better than the Bungles or the Cardinals. The Pats would beat both of them, too.

Zona's a tough team to figure out or predict week-to-week, but Cinci definitely better find some offensive answers FAST if they want to make it out of the first round of the playoffs. Some serious issues there...

I'd love to see the Bengals get somewhere, especially at the expense of San Diego or Indy, but it won't happen. Ever.

I'm not sure how you (or anyone) could have ANY confidence in this Patriots team. Their defense is AWFUL and allowing below average QB's to throw for 300+ yards. Their offense, which I thought would be superb, has proven to be VERY inconsistent. Some weeks Brady looks like Brady and other weeks he's missing throws that he doesn't usually miss. Moss has completely disappeared and their only reliable player on offense is Wes Welker. As much I love Welker (and what he's doing isn't getting enough attention), he isn't winning the Patriots any playoff games by himself. I have ZERO confidence in this team and would be stunned to see Buffalo beat them this week.

We've covered this before. ANY team who gives themselves the nickname of "America's Team" is going to invite hatred and deservedly so, in my opinion. You'll be happy to know that I'm picking the FraudBoys to win this week. That and fifty cents will buy you a newspaper (if there are any still left in business)

Not on the road in December on turf in New Orleans. They're gonna get killed. I'm giving the 7 points and taking the Saints!

Ehwmatt- I am still LOL at the necklace. I have ???? 1st I think the Bengals will get to the playoffs and 1 out at this point. I also think the Off line is not the line earlier on. Now, is that the loss of tight end or Chris Henry injury. He could free up Chad and be just as dangerous. Is Andre Caldwell as good as Carson thought and Coles can barely hang on to a ball. Damn that Denver game with the 11 sec tipoff touchdown.

Really? Too bad for you that championships are measured off of Super Bowls and anything before that is completely irrelevant. If you have that to make yourself feel better than that's cool. Remember this is a time where helmets where made out of wool and middle linebackers weighed 100 pounds. How sad is the Cleveland fan base. You can have your 1 lousy win but remember the Browns are as pathetic as they ever were.

I don't know what you're trying to say. Steelers fans don't take Cleveland fans seriously since they took a heated rivalry back in the 70's and 90's and turned it into absolute shit. Since 1999, the Browns have been a joke to the league and will continue to be a team that serves no purpose in doing anything for the NFL. The Steelers have been so successful compared to the Browns, that when the Browns final beat them they rushed the field like it was their ultimate accomplishment. That's why their 4-12 every year, they worry about beating the superior AFC North teams every season rather than improving their own squad and to be taken serious against the entire NFL. This was the Browns first win in 6 years against Pittsburgh. This "Worthlesberger" you talk about has a record of 10-1 against your team so before you think the Browns can hold any sort of candle to a team like the Steelers, then make a run at consecutive .500 season's first. It's laughable.

I didn't say one thing about championships, but your right. Kiss our rings. The Browns are so despicable since their return to the league that they aren't even worth mentioning in any subject when it comes to the NFL.
