This article doesn't tell everything I heard on the radio. I heard snippets of her talking saying, "Kids just do things, you can only do so much and they do things and get into trouble..." She was SO nonchalant about it like he just did this all the time. I know kids just do things but not this much, surely! She also said he got the beer from HER daddy's cooler in the back of the house. Maybe grandpa and mom should make sure there aren't things easily accessible to the kid? Glad he didn't decide to drink bleach!

LOL!!!
Seriously though...I've never had boys, or brothers, so I'm
no expert. I have known several 4 yr old little boys
and by that age they know that boys don't wear dresses,
usually!! So at 4 he's drinking,
roaming the streets in the middle of the night, breaking into
neighbor's homes and stealing dresses from them...to wear!!
I'd say if he's trying to be like his daddy, as the mother stated,
it's a good thing the daddy is in jail. I don't know that this
mother is capable of taking care of this child...I hope so!!

The kid might just be a "bad seed", if anyone has seen that movie where the evil manifests itself in a little girl.

They're starting younger and younger.

Actually, this is a very sad story. I thought I grew up bad, but compared to now days, I was brought up in a pretty good home.

What the hell is going on is right. I just returned from California where a 10 and an 11 year old made the news for robbing a liquor store with guns.

I bummed my first taste of beer when I was 4 or 5 (hated it) and I'm sure my mom wouldn't have reacted like that! Whoopin' time and I'd never be able to visit my neighbor that gave the taste after that.

I started wondering what was going on with parents when I found a 3 year old roaming around in an alleyway by herself...are kids raising themselves?

NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

A nearby community to where I live is about 65% mexicans. The parents do a terrible job of controlling their children when they are in retail establishments as well as at my business. Maybe they expect the government to not only feed their kids but raise them too. When you say something to them or their children they act violated somehow.
