I will go on record as saying I'd rather eat a bullet than ever watch a Christmas Story again. HORRIBLE movie and I just don't get the appeal. That kid is about as cute as placenta diarrhea

a Cleveland native hates Christmas story

Aside from Bad Santa, which really sucked, I don't think I've ever watched a Christmas movie. I've seen bits and pieces of all the aforementioned classics, but not enough to know the plot.

Christmas Vacation with Chevy Chase and A Christmas Story. Also, the Grinch is the best animated cartoon, hands down. Other than those 3, are there REALLY any other movies for X-mas time? 8)

"Christmas Vacation" is my favorite, just beyond hysterical and full of great one-liners. Also hysterical is "Scrooged" with Bill Murray.

I'd have to say "White Christmas" is a favorite of mine 'cause I've always liked Danny Kaye. I actually bought the DVD.

The first one was staged at Christmas time. The girl even talks about finding her dad at christmas dead in the chimney.

Yeah i know it's primarily a sci fi/horror film. Just throwing it in since it's set during x mas time. Gremlins 2 was the better film. Gizmo love that little furball.

well, It's A Wonderful Life is on tonight, and halfway through you realize what a brilliant movie it is when watching the scenes where his life is unraveling. Brilliant performance by Jimmy Stewart. Here's a little trivia on the movie:

"The film is regarded as a classic and is a staple of Christmas television around the world, although, due to its high production costs and stiff competition at the box office, financially, it was considered a "flop." The film's break-even point was actually $6.3 million, approximately twice the production cost, a figure it never came close to achieving in its initial release. An appraisal in 2006 reported: "Although it was not the complete box-office failure that today everyone believes … it was a major disappointment and confirmed, at least to the studios, that Capra was no longer capable of turning out the populist features that made his films the must-see, money-making events they once were."

It's a Wonderful Life was nominated for five Oscars without winning any, but the film has since been recognized by the American Film Institute as one of the 100 best American films ever made, and placed number one on their list of the most inspirational American films of all time."

Love Actually is a great little movie.

I also like the movie Comfort and Joy starring Nancy McKeon.

A Season of Miracles starring Carla Gugino is another one.
