Seriously? This is his second vacation in eleven months. Dubbya took two MONTHS off during his first year.

Wrong again.

Both of you are wrong...NO PRESIDENT has a day off...EVER...not today...they are wired in, have daily briefings, the works, and then a few HOURS to spend swimming in the blue Hawaiian waters, or clearing brush on their property.

Seriously people, I mean just think a little before you bloviate.

Exactly! That's why they age 10 years in only 4!

in my mind the system will never work. it's just a matter of time until this happens again & next time we won't be so lucky.

It's been confirmed that he did have a passport in his bag, so this one doesn't hold up.

It's just so damned frustrating since how do you identify the extremists in this world? Remember OK City. However, this one was a total break down in our security systems.

They are diseased epidemic. There is no cure for that kind of fucking insanity. Nobody, and I mean nobody that is right would consider blowing themselves up, taking others with them and believe that any God would condone this, let alone get rewarded with 72 virgins or whatever the hell they believe. What blows my mind is that this is not just isolated to a few kooks but a huge segment of people. They claim Islam is a religion of peace but you never know when they cross the line and become radicalized. I don't know what the answer is, but, frankly, I think we should get out of their lands and their affairs and stop letting any of these rag heads into this country. They can be isolated in all their whackness without us. Let em kill each other off. Less of them has to be better for us.

Mr. Abdulmutallab carried a valid U.S. visa printed into a Nigerian passport equipped with the latest security features, Nigerian authorities said.

...and his valid US Visa was good for 2 years.

Nigerian bomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab reportedly boarded the aircraft by impersonating a Sudanese refugee who did not have a passport, a ruse officials in Amsterdam apparently accepted. It is certain that al Qaeda had tested this method at Amsterdam before.

Looks like we'll just have to wait and see what the real story is when this all shakes out. For some reason, I'm finding this kind of funny in a sick way. 3 days after the fact and we still get conflicting news stories. Makes you wonder what you can really believe or who controls which press.

Bungling from the top down. They still do not get that we are at war. Britain is looking for 25 homegrown Brit citizens and the US and other countires have their own. What we really need is a person from Amsterdam on each flight. That would be national security. PROFILE PROFILE PROFILE ! 200-300 lives on each plane. Let me think... oh PROFILE. The silly remedies- no one leaves there seat, no blankets or books on your lap I would laugh if they weren't serious about this. At least this guy will not have anything for the 72 virgins.

Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab:

1. Bought a one way ticket from Amsterdam to the USA

2. Paid in cash

3. Had no luggage

4. Had no passport

5. Was let on the plane anyways....

On the plane, he tried to trigger the chemical bomb and instead lit his crotch on fire, triggering 4 foot flames coming out of the top of his underwear.

He was subdued by the passengers.

On Sunday, Janet Neo-politano. ( :D ) said: "The system worked"

... she must have been talking about the Al Queda system for getting Umar over US airspace untouched...

According to a London news source... apparently there are 23 more Umar's waiting their chance to "Fry the Friendly Skies"

News is reporting that there are as many as 300 training in Yemen to carry out similar plot. I say send some drone aircraft into Yemen and blow up their camp.

no one is killing the messenger. Its just a bit more fun to debate something using your own brain rather than just copy and paste.

this is how FF wouldve responded to you

How to Debate a Point

Even if you are in an office job, debate skills are vital elements to climbing up any job market (corporate, medical, or educational). Some people are better debaters than others. Consequently, they go into fields such as law or sales. Still, debating points is integral to improving your professional situation. You will need to know how to debate a point to increase your salary, you will need to debate a point to get the best position you deserve, the best desk, the best hours, the best clients, and so on. Even if your work takes you to places that argumentative skills are extraneous, they will always help you in your job pursuits. Perhaps you will need to debate a point just to get the job. You must convince an employer that you are the best candidate for the job in order to secure it and move up in the corporation (or school or hospital).

Follow these few steps to create a strong "point" or argument. From this point on, we will refer to a "point" as an argument or a theme.

Research all information around "the point."
Pick a side to debate. There are always two (or more) ideas to a debate or points to argue. You must select one viewpoint and follow it through. If you are a little iffy on your argument, it will appear in your debate. You do not even have to agree with your argument, you just must commit to it in order to create a strong debate.
Once you have researched both sides to a point, you must begin creating your debate.
Like an essay, a debate point is a formulaic. It has an introduction, evidence, and a conclusion. The main difference is that most debates are oral. You speak in public, sometimes extemporaneously.
Your point must have an introduction, but not a flowery introduction. Usually, you just jump to the point. You can open with a general thought or anecdote, but do not veer too far from the subject matter or else people will start fidgeting. They will not listen to your debate.
Gather at least three pieces of evidence. Have them prepared ahead of time. You may not use them all while speaking. However, you will always have more the enough information to fall back on if there is an uncomfortable silence.
Conclude your debate by disproving the opponent's point. You will then reaffirm the certitude of your point by repeating your thesis statement aloud.

That's the thing, most of his so called facts are OTHERS OPINIONS he is just making us aware of. If he wants to debate, he should be stating these other opinions, while also sharing his own. But if he likes to let others do the thinking for him, I guess thats his business then
