thats what I get in watching the AFC...

GO PACK... they have no shot this year at the Super Bowl... but then hey I never would have thunk a chance to win 11 games... and they have 10 wins now...
That Tampa Bay loss and the Bengals loss in the first month of the season are killers!! I would fear the Eagles I think then the Vikes if they are in the dome.....
and then the Cards as the sleeper... no shot will be the saints and my Packers... Defense has lots of holes... for a huge playoff run.

Enough AFC talk. Who is the "scary" team in the NFC?

I still think New Orleans will be heard from in the NFC. They're obviously not going into the playoffs on a high note, but Brees is a stud QB. I think the NFC will come down to Philadelphia or New Orleans. Green Bay could certainly factor into it (especially if they play like they did yesterday). I believe that either Indy or San Diego will ultimately win the whole thing.

EVERY team who gets into the tournament has a shot. If you watch enough NFL football, you understand that the unthinkable happens almost every week. There is almost always a surprise team in the Super Bowl. It almost never comes down to the two favorites. The Cardinals weren't a favorite to get there last season and the Giants weren't the favorite to get there the season before last. Expect the unexpected. I think the one thing that goes heavily against Green Bay is that they're not going to have the home field advantage (Which is an enormous advantage because of the harsh climate) in any important playoff games. Hell, I'd probably pick Green Bay against any team in the NFC if their opponent had to play in the elements...especially if it were a dome team.

haha, REALLY? After being 6-2, and beating Denver IN Denver on a 5 game win streak, I had them no higher than 3 or 4 I believe and that was a nice spot for them at that point in time when they were riding 6-2. After that they slipped every week and haven't been in my top 10 for a LONG time. I'm going to go back and post my rankings throughout.

CINCINNATI - It's not a question of if the Bengals will rest their starters in Sunday's regular-season finale against the Jets, it's how much.

For the Bengals, a lot of that could depend on the result of the New England-Houston game. If the Patriots win, then the Bengals (10-5) are locked into the fourth seed no matter what happens. But if the Texans win, the Bengals could get the third seed if they beat the Jets.

If both the Bengals and Patriots lose there is a very small chance that the Bengals could get the third seed. New England has the edge based on strength of victory.

We all know it's a long shot for the Steelers to make it. Have known that for 6 weeks and it REALLY is amazing they still have a shot and I don't expect them to make it. But, as far as your Bungles, I think that's a bad move. The Bengals aren't use to being in this position at this time of the year and are just use to LOSING. If they tank the game, then they enter the playoffs losing the last 3 out of 4 games, just after SQUEAKING by the Chiefs. If I was the Bengals, I would want to put on a good front in Prime Time and do a nice wash of a team and go into the playoffs with momentum. Won't happen. Translation: The Bengals are going to get SMOKED in the WC round. Still, don't put it past "Sanchize" to throw 4 picks! He's due.

The Bengals apparently are going to lay down and show the Jets nothing, while the Jets will throw all they have at the Bengals. Next weekend they will play again in Cincy and the Bengals will have seen what the Jets have while the Jets will not have seen what we have. Sounds smart to me, a 2 week live scouting report should help Cincy. We'll pick Santchez 4 times in the WC Game.

That's great and all, but that's entering MAJOR dangerous territory my man. Don't overlook the Jets for a SECOND and it will be the Jets who would have momentum going into Cincy and it will be the Jets hot with their personal and having a feel for certain players and how the Bengals move. Sorry, but playing a team twice in a row, on a 3 game win streak while throwing one could be very dangerous and a big blow to Cincy. If the Bungles are going to show nothing, don't you think the the Jets wouldn't want to do that as well? They'll come out vanilla also and hope that's enough to beat the Cincy backups while getting a feel for a Cincy team. Not good for Cincy since they aren't THAT good to begin with.
