Er, dude, come on ACC, Big East whatever conference has the small moral fibre to shelter them, Miami wrote the BOOK on that "southern speed" shit that you SECers have turned into a parody. They lead the universe in the, er, "demographics" that primarily make the rosters of teams who crow about southern speed.

I read ya.....and I cannot find a legitimate argument here....

Im fired up for it, although with the dark cloud hovering above us right now its hard to stay excited. I hate the "wait and see" pattern we are in. I think its holding up any and all progress. We should be concerned about how to replace the senior class we are losing and the juniors who may bolt. Not whether or not Urban is going to feel like coaching. Hes either gonna coach or leave, and thats what I want known.

It looks about time for the Red Raiders to return once again to mediocrity.

Leach is a great offensive mind. When Ron Zook was fired Leach was the one I wanted to take over UF's program.

To me, this Cincy Vs Florida game has been VERY dirty. There were multiple plays where I saw at least 3-4 guys taking a swing after the whistle was blown. One was called but the others were left unnoticed, esp that face mask on Florida's first drive. On the play where Florida's RB went down with injury, I believe that was an even dirty play and the defenseman clearly put his knee into his chest purposely. Physical game where players are getting away with unsportsmanlike conducts.

That blocked extra point was SICK though.

Where's Gradkowski when you need 'em. We need your Afraiders to beat Balty Sunday and knock us in at 4:15 when the Pats clobber the Texans! 8)

Yeah, I think I'm done with the Wings. Started following them in '85 when they finished with 40 pts. Stevie got his 3 cups. I'm happy. Haven't watched them at all this year.
Raiders don't have a prayer without Gradkowski. Frye was brutal against Cleveland. Maybe worse than JaWalrus.

Is ANYONE watching this Florida/Cincy game? I've never seen a game this mis-matched between two teams. Completely unfair if you ask me. During the first half, Florida out gained Cincy to almost 400 yards of offense, to Cincy's 55! The halftime score was 30-3 and with those numbers I'm shocked it's even that close. This is a perfect example as to why Conferences like the Big East will NEVER qualify for a National Championship in today's age. They are out matched, out classed, and simply out performed with the student body to Conferences such as the SEC or the Big 10 and this game is the prime example.

plus the team was gutted when the coach left then the INTERIM guy was hired by someone too...But Cincy still woulda been clobbered IMO...reminds me when the whole state of Hawaii was gaga over the Sugar Bowl a couple years back and Georgia destroyed them....

Yeah, having the head coach there, that coached the team throughout an undefeated season would of been nice for Cinci. As they say, it all starts and ends with the head coach and after all that has happened I believe the team was flabbergast and have no more fight left, esp taking that amount of time off. Florida, on the other hand, had every reason to dominate. Their storied head coach and the most successful college player and leader of ALL TIME in the college ranks could of played and coached their last game and they had EVERY reason to dismantle a lesser opponent in a Bowl game. To me, this just makes me hate college football even more. The BCS is such a mess and the system goes and puts these two teams together in a snooze and blowout bowl for the whole world to see on a National stage. Note to the NCAA: GET A PLAYOFF!

I'm glad that grandstanding creep won't be shoving his religious garbage down our throats anymore. The NCAA needs to ban that bullshit immediately. Without looking, I'm guessing that Ephesians 2:8-10 talks discusses crying like a little bitch when a much better Alabama team beats your brains in for 4 quarters ... but I could be wrong. It could talk about a much better Utah team finishing second last year in the annual NCAA college football popularity contest.

Just tired of seeing biblical verses during a fucking football game. You watch, pretty soon some Muslim fuck is gonna retaliate and we're gonna have to deal with quotes from that pussy Allah. And I doubt Tebow wears his football jersey to church and does the gator chomp during communion so he shouldn't advertise his religious shit during the games. Like a bunch of college kids or sports fanatics like myself give two fucks about bible verses. I'm worried about covering the spread, man! Mr. Tebow and Co. put quite a few dollars in my pocket last night and, for that, I'm grateful. Cincinnati is a shit team.

I knew SEC speed would be way to much for Cinncy. But cmon man, Tebow is a great person. Maybe he goes overboard with the bible verses but hes got freedom of religion and for that I salute him for having the courage to not hide his faith. Hes a role model for everyone.

Nobody is gonna beat a quality top 5 team like Florida with Cincy's defense.

ScarabGator wrote:But cmon man, Tebow is a great person.

Totally agree. Incredible humanitarian.

ScarabGator wrote:Maybe he goes overboard with the bible verses but hes got freedom of religion and for that I salute him for having the courage to not hide his faith.

Just do it in the right place. I'm just being fair because I don't wanna see Muhammed Abdul-Shariff-Mustaffa Assad displaying Muslim shit in the future, and the Tebow propaganda is opening the door for that.

ScarabGator wrote:Hes a role model for everyone.

Hard to argue with that.
