I agree. I don't mind the verses at all.

I have to admit, I was never a Tebow fan. Too much hype for my tastes. But after hearing him talk and the way he conducts himself, I really like him. I hope there is a place for him in the NFL.

THAT was the biggest problem for Cincy last night, Florida, while VERY good is not THAT much better than Cincy. Shame Kelly did that to them.
Rosebowl: I have to grudgingly admit, Terrell Pryor is a major playmaker, with a short memory for mistakes.

Did we watch the same Sugar Bowl last night???? Not that much better? Wow, thats really something. If you remember Florida has their own issues with coaching right now themselves...we were just as distracted, just too much better.
RJP13-you are an intelligent football fan and you normally add first rate comments and opinion but this was absolutely a ridiculous statement from you.

Florida could play Cincinnati 100 times and they'd beat them by twenty or more 99 times. Cincinnati isn't that good. They played one good team prior to Florida ... Pittsburgh ... and gave up 44 points! They're just lucky they scored 45 that day. They gave up 45 to shitty Connecticut and 36 to awful Illinois. The beatdown Florida gave them was quite predictable.

I know this may surprise you but SJ, I totally-100% agree with you. I had a feeling it was gonna get out of hand.

Florida is solid in all aspects of the game and Cincinnati had an offense that exploited a shitty schedule and a defense that benefited from it. The easy schedule ended last night! Out Cincinnati in The Big Ten, SEC or Pac-10 and they're a 3-5 loss team.

Thanks LA and I agree-while Im definetly not gonna be the first person in church nor the one to preach on I just love what Timmy stands for. I love it that my daughters-whos all met Timmy-can look up to him and read about his off the field stuff. Do you know that my daughter gets her bible out each week and looks up what Timmy's verses are. If nothing else comes out of that thats good enough for me. Did you know part 2: DYK the day after Gator games the bible verses Timmy had on his blacks were the most googled ones on the net???
And yes, Timmy will play in the NFL...I hope with either Atlanta or Jax so that I can continue to see him play.

Dude, those two teams are BOTH great. That was an exciting game IMO. BSU to me, has proven it can continually play with the big boys and should be allowed into the PAC 10.

Agreed, very exciting, almost "cat and mouse" game in that it really wasn't at all what we expected. A total defensive affair with the trademark Boise State trickery turning the tide in the end. A really fun and enjoyable game to watch despite the low scoring. Kudos to Boise State coach and players who were interviewed - well-spoken and appreciative of the win. I'd probably be pissed and make multiple headlines w/ my response if someone asked me how it felt to be second fiddle despite being 14-0. Petersen handled the post-game like a pro without resorting to faux-classy cliches.

Not me bro, I was all about that game last night. Not a lot of offense there. I didnt have a dog in the fight so it didnt matter to me who won. Great defenses.....

Boise State should get a share of #1.

Hell they'd be liable to beat either TX or AL.

I can't believe some assclown from ESPN wrote the game off as boring and disparaged Boise State. I wonder which BCS officials paid him off? That was a GREAT game.

Say what you want about Boise, but they deliver EVERY YEAR in their Bowl Game and certainly make the best of it! They have some magic about themselves and is possibly the most entertaining team in the Bowl System the last few years. Kudos to Boise for giving fans what they want.

They can beg for whoever they want, they got beat. No hosing.

Cinci should NOT have been in that Florida game though. I knew what that result would be. As an Ohio guy, I was pulling for Cinci, but I knew there was no way and that it would probably be as lopsided as it turned out to be.

Even though SEC is by FAR the more superior conference compared to the Big East, I thought Cincy and their 'high powered offense' would make a GREAT GAME throughout. I looked at the lines and Cincy was double digit underdogs and I was shocked. I couldn't be more wrong. I've never seen a more lopsided match up and if this isn't an indication (like there isn't enough already) for the NCAA to get a playoff then I don't know what is. Complete shit of a game.

If all of the coaching staff strife hadn't been there for Cinci, I might have thought the same as you. Given the clear athletic superiority of Florida plus that, I just figured there was very little chance that Cinci could put up much of a fight. I will say, I was down there in New Orleans from the 31-3rd and I saw far more Cinci fans everywhere than Florida fans.

Apparently the college fans aren't much better than the pro sports fans down there in Florida... I'm assuming they were disappointed they weren't in the big one and didn't show up. Jump on the bandwagon... JUMP OFF!
