About 2 hours from my house, not too bad. Now I'm looking forward to the line-up :)

I play sotball on Kennedy Avenue in Highland every year. Used to go to McTaverns, Rodney's or The Office after games. :)

Yeah cool, I do not live far from there at all, I always hit all those dives on Kennedy Ave from time to time, these are real dive bars, they are not pretending to be, real people in there too.

Might as well be in Australia Andrew, painful thought living in the very south suburbs having to drive all the way to the NW side. Don't worry I'll still be there. If anyone needs picked up from the airport give me a shout, it is right on my way. 8)

I'm just about next door to O'Hare.

It's definitely a car rental situation for those who don't want to wait on getting rides all weekend, but shouldn't be too bad. You just come out of the airport/car rental thing and take I-90 W about 35-45 min and your pretty much there. Not too complicated.

Elgin isn't that far out. I mean... it isn't that close either, but it's not bad.

I think it's just a casino. If I'm not mistaken it's The Grand Victoria. Last time I was there, which was many years ago, I did very well playing blackjack. :) Any other gamblers gonna join me for boozing and gambling?

I would play some slots  that is what it's called, but I didn't look to see if it had a hotel attached or anything.
