American Masters on PBS. Saw this before and it's great. So worth the second watch :D

Caught it last night, thanks for the tip. Remarkable man, that Sam Cooke, inspiring story. And, oh my, he sure sounds like SP :lol: or vice versa....hehe.

I caught it too. Very good story. Lot of stuff I didn't know about his life. Could sure tell that he was an influence on Steve :lol:

I think that show was produced by my sister's best friend, and my friend, Donald Channsin Berry. We all call him Chann. Good show, but very sad ending. One more thing...good lawd have mercy....Sam Cooke was oh so very FIIIIIIIINE!!! Whoot! :D
