The run of astonishingly unexciting playoff football continues... wow. The start of this game seemed to indicate a battle, but alas, Tony Choke-mo has mailed another one in.

No shit, I was watching the grand kid and trying to get into the game and, Nothing. Boring, unless a Minny fan I guess. He just got picked up so here's hoping the Jets give us something worth watching.

Sucks to be you guys, yes, these are blowouts but I'm lovin every second of this FRAUD of a team in the Dallas Cowpokes getting SLAUGHTERED and gashed all over the field. Hey Dallas: Can't play a deflating Eagles team every week. Now go home. 8)

You really enjoyed watching a game that uncompetitive from start to finish? It was god awful, regardless of how much you hate the team on the receiving end of the buttfucking.

Yes. I love playoff football. I don't give a shit if it's close or tight. There's only a couple more weeks until football season is over so I'm loving every minute, but that's just me.

Sleeping on the Jets is a bad idea. If they had a TAD bit of offense, an offense that can get 10 yards, then I'd say the Jets are well on their way but that's not the case. The defense is REALLY playing well and I can't believe their keeping up with S.D's pace. I hope they come through with the upset.

I think SD is gonna open it up here in the second half.

I will definitely miss football in the offseason as I do every year, that's for sure. But, just because the season is drawing to a close doesn't mean I'm gonna sit there with sweat seeping from my asscrack on the edge of my couch as I wonder if the inept Ravens can come back from a 17 point deficit against Peyton, etc etc.

Yeah, but I love it from an overall standpoint. Love seeing the chess match, adjustments, what their trying to do, matchups and things like that. I can't get enough of it. Like I said, next week, elite vs elite (Vikes/Saints) and a possible Peyton VS the vaunted Chargers/Rivers. No matter what, I think we're in for a treat for Super Bowl 44.

Yeah, we should be in for a treat next week and for the SB. The rest of these teams just have too many glaring weaknesses. Like you said above, lots of mediocrity in the league this year.

The Jets are hanging but I wouldn't put it past Rivers & Co to completely snap in this half and drop 17 more points onto the final score.

I don't know what to think of Sanchez at this point. It's too hard to get a read in this kind of offense that they are running.

Conservative. I understand protecting Sanchez and everything, but I'd change pace and open the offense a bit up for him and trust him a little more rather than him slowly gather his feet and remaining patient. This is the Divisional Round of the playoffs, not Week 5. They are starting to open up more, and they are moving the ball well, esp compared to the first 2 QRTS. Trust in the guy for Christ sake, he has major poise.

He's been unbelievably poised, especially considering some of the shaky games he had mid-season and late season. If they wanna win this game, they are eventually going to require a big play or two from him.

The Colts might be watching and wondering what kind of monster they unleashed when they let the Jets win that game late in the season.

A third FG miss from the usually solid Kaeding, just unreal. I'd love to see the FG stats across all teams so far this postseason. The field goal kicking has simply been ABYSMAL. I really cannot ever remember watching this many missed FGs at the pro level in this short of a time span in my life.

That's a damn good point.

No WAY, no HOW, the Jets go into Indianapolis and take one from the Colts. Favre/Brees VS Manning is due for the Super Bowl. I said earlier in the season, if it's ANY team to challenge the Saints, it's the Vikes. I'm saying Vikes/Colts, Superbowl 44.

UNBELIEVABLY dumb penalty by Jackson there. When idiots commit penalties like that, they should be cut immediately, imo. There's just absolutely no excuse for being a moron like that.

I wanted the Jets to win to help prove that the last 2 weeks wasn't a fluke. Now I'm taking the Cinderalla team all the way. Indy,NO and Minny don't mean squat to me anyway. JETS JETS JETS JETS!

I don't care if they were 1-15 and were granted a playoff spot by a decree from Tagliabue. They are from New York. I will never, EVER, root for a NY sports team, cinderella or not.

Yawn. No surprises today. Tony Romo and the Cowgirls get their annual late Decemeber/early January beatdown and the Chargers and their fat-faced overrated quarterback and equally fat tight end decide to mail it in. The only thing the Cowgirls do is take up playoff space from another team that might potentially show up and not choke every year. I'm not sure I've ever seen a worse quarterback than Tony Romo in the playoffs. That guy just plain sucks.

So you're an Indy fan next week? Good..I'll be here. Could be fun. :P

Always an Indy fan. Peyton is the absolute man and always has been. I love watching him. Cool, collected, poised, an avid student and lover of the game, and most importantly, doesn't flap around like a goddamn chicken like Brett Fag-vre every time he completes a decent pass or a TD.

Peyton is football's version of Roger Federer (my all-time fave tennis player).

Oh it does matter. Turner should lose his job for that ridiculously poor decision to go for an onside kick and I'll tell you why. The math dictated that for SD to get back to even, they had to force NY to punt. Had they kicked off deep, the Jets never would have gone for it 4th down on their side of the field. They kick off deep, hold them to 3 downs and NJ punts with a minute remaining. The onside kick makes zero sense. I doubt Kaeding would miss a 4th kick within realistic yardage. The game should have gone to OT. The Jets had nothing to really lose if they didn't make it on the SD 30. That was the right call by Ryan to try and win it right there and he did.

Am I the only person on the fucking planet that thinks that Darren Sproles at this point in time is a much better player than Tomlinson?!?! I don't see any comparison. You get Sproles 20 touches a game and he's busting one. No two ways about it. Dude is a huge weapon and he's taking a backseat to a has been. If Turner wants to play the nostalgia card he might as well bring Dan Fouts back. That dude was 10X the QB the fat-faced fucker they have now is!

LT = 30 touches = possibly two big plays
Sproles = 20 touches = definitely 2 big plays = possibly 5 big plays

Today's line

D. Sproles 3 for 33
L. Tomlinson 12 for 24
