Pineda should simply be recognized for being the singer on the Platinum selling album Revelation. That's where his history and contribution started with Journey.
I feel the same with Augeri. He should only be recognized for the success obtained during his specific tenure with Journey. The credentials warranted for entrance onto the WOF and possibly a future date with the HOF were established long before either of these singers picked up a mic for the band.
When you are drafted by the Steelers, you obviously aren't going to be handed a superbowl ring just because the team has won six of them already. You are entitled to get what you earn, no more, no less.

good point GB! I think some forget that sometimes. I do agree Augeri deserves extra special recognition since he is the singer that came in when the band had been left for dead and ressurected it. Arnie boy, well he hasnt earned anything yet.

Let's be real here. There is one Journey album currently on Billboards Top 200 Album chart. It's not Revelation and it's not Arrival. It was initially released in 1988. That's 22 years ago, folks. The CD comes with a blue sticker on the front listing the names of the performers included on that release.
No SA, No AP. No Deen.
Case closed.

And on national television.I think that goes down in "Journey's top 10 most embarrassing moments."

Its not his fault Perry quit, its not his fault Augeri blew his voice out and its not his fault JSS didnt make it with Journey. And the Superbowl performance, one bad day. Good Grief! You all whine like a bunch of girls. One of you in particular.
