Congrats Saints fans, that is indeed awesome & I know that feeling. But that's it? LMAO how weak. I've been to Steelers regular season wins at a bar that's been more crazier than that ALL AROUND.
Here's when Troy Polamalu picked off Joe Flacco in last year's Championship Game to send the Steelers to '43, and this is NOT a dome and holds much less than 'Nawlins dome.

That's like one little square of Bourbon Street. I guarantee it was absolutely nuts down there, from someone who was just down there for New Year's. Bourbon Street stretches on forever and there's probably 80+ bars (probably a gross underestimate).
Plus, that was when the field goal was made... it was like what, 10:20 then? Who knows how crazy it was by 1 or 2

Making boneheaded plays.

At the very least they should have had the ball on their own 43. Why was the ref "afraid" to make the right call - when the replay clearly and irrefutably showed he lost control of the ball and regained it BEHIND the line of scrimmage - but showed no reluctance to call "pass interference" on an uncatchable ball on a receiver with whom no contact was made by a defensive player?

Know why? Because POOR New Orleans had a fucking hurricane five years ago and much like the Patriots after 911...they should represent the hardship they've been through. Wah wah wah. What a fucking joke. It's not a game, it's a commodity to play on tragedies and let them win because they "deserve it" or because they've never been there before. Outside of the stupid, unacceptable fumbles...which should have taken Peterson OUT of the game and Brett's stupid toss...the refs gave POOR old New Orleans their ticket to the Superbowl. Maybe Haiti can come up with a sports team that we should have let win because they've "Been through sooooo much"![]()

Either that or it was Karma biting that jackass Favre in the ass!
Ehwmatt wrote:This is absurd, New Orleans was getting every penalty called against them for the first three quarters. There was also a VERY close pass interference call against them as well.
I second the sour grapes above^^^

REGGIE BUSH gave the VIKINGS A GIFT near the end of the first half... and what did AP do... he Fumbled... thats WHY THE VIKINGS LOST... not a few booth reviews in overtime...
the league would have rather have a Favre/Manning Super Bowl... its not about the SAINTS... its not about Katrina... its not about any of that... its about Brett not winning the big games... ELWAY or Montana he is not... Bradshaw... Staubach, Namath... he is not
Bretts a gunslinger... and he lost the BIG GAME again because of that...
come on... 19 seconds left... and Brett does the impossible... except for him....

Wonder what verse of the Bible he'll recite tonight to get his head out of his ass. If he's sick, DON'T PARTICIPATE!

That's hilarious, but where does it say he fell to 5th round in that article?

The comment was made on ESPN reports with Todd McShay who said many NFL scouts dropped his name into 5th round consideration. I laughed my ass off, he can't even take a snap under center and complete a technical backdrop without looking sloppy.

So, uhhh, you're willing to ship one of the best, young, upcoming quarterback talents in the league in Aaron Rodgers, so Tim Tebow, who can't throw the ball accurately 15 yards downfield because of his slop foot work, mechanics, and releasing point (Defensive ends/Outside Linebackers are salivating), just to groom the dude for years down the road?

not at all... I am willing for the Packers to draft tebow to teach him... give him time... like the Packers did Rogers... who is to say that Rogers will stay a packer for ever... in this day and age of free agency... I am just saying if the option is still there in the 3rd round why not take a chance.
