It probably went WELL into the wee hours of the morning. This is something the city of New Orleans has NEVER witnessed.. EVER and for something like this to happen to their city (after a catastrophe like Katrina) it's almost like they don't know how to act and the parties are probably STILL going on in the streets.

This is absurd, New Orleans was getting every penalty called against them for the first three quarters. There was also a VERY close pass interference call against them as well.

Calls were made on both sides equally, and about equally were just as bad as the other side. Problem is, that the Vikes had to suffer the calls during the most crucial times of the game and they just couldn't survive the ratio of 6 turnovers to New Orleans 1.

I was shocked, giving all the fumbles and turnovers that the Vikes had to endure, that the game went into overtime. The Vikes out gained the Saints with well over 200 more yards of offense but if you commit that many turnovers with their ratio of 1, then forget it. Their worst game came at the worst time, even though minus the turnovers, the Vikes looked more solid than the Saints and I still feel they are the better team.

There WERE some awful calls against the Vikings, but the fact the truth is that they beat themselves by losing the football too many times.

This is not a new Viking phenomenon. Hell, Vikings killed my grandfather seventeen years ago. He used to get so mad at them blowing close important games with fumbles and poor penalties- one Sunday afternoon, he was jumping up and down screaming "Goddamn Vikings" at the TV set and he had a heart attack. (Interestingly enough as this was 1993, and during that year the Vikes had another ex-QB from one of their hated rivals (Jim McMahon) starting. )

Dude, you're putting way too much stock into the Brett Favre hate circulating into the outcome of the game. If you watched, Favre was by far the best player on the field that night and it was not him that gagged (he certainly did his part) , but it was his teammates that should be blamed for putting the Vikings in that horrible situation TO BEGIN WITH.

If it wasn't for Favre, then the Vikes would of been blown out entering the 3rd giving the many turnovers that would have been BACK BREAKING to any other team in the league. Favre threw the pick, yes, but for them to be in the game at that time was remarkable, esp after his teammates lost 5 turnovers, 2 inside the 10 and one on the 3 yard line! Favre's legacy has already be written, and he will be a first ballot Hall of Famer. This was one of his best seasons to date and for that, it just adds more to his long tenured journey.

not at all... Say this does happen.. it'll be at LEAST 10-12 years, maybe more when Rodgers is done in a Packer uniform if he pans out to what he's supposed to be, since he IS their franchise quarterback. By that time, Tebow will be holding his lifetime clipboard his whole career, would be too old to be unproven, or will be shipped out of town by that time. Tebow's a terrible fit for Green Bay, as well as 90% of the league, depending on what you want from the QB position. Miami or Jacksonville might take a shot.
