To my pleasant surprise, I just received this email yesterday...

Dear TSO Fans,

TSO is proud to announce the Beethoven's Last Night Tour 2010. Experience the Beethoven's Last Night album in its entirety - as well as new material from our latest release, Night Castle! Come see TSO in an intimate theatre setting debuting songs that have never been performed live.

All tickets are being made available exclusively to members of TSO's fan club, Trans-SiberianExpress.com, and may not be available to the general public. If you want to purchase tickets for this show, you must either already be a member or sign up for Trans-SiberianExpress.com by February 1st.

Anyone else hear about this? I sent out an email asking if a California show will be added, okay I practically begged them for an LA venue I waited 10 years to hear Beethoven's Last Night played live!

What I'm surprised about is the venue sizes. It sounds like intimate is what they're going for though. I mean I grew up in Erie and know the Warner Theater quite well, and it's very old and not very large. So I'm assuming all these venues will be the same type. I'm guessing it's not the the show/production like the one they do for the holidays. Im sure the sound and the music would be really cool to hear though. No Florida dates though. Oh well.

Yeah, this isn't new. O'Neill had said last year they were planning on touring during this upcoming year to support the new album and older material.

Well, Erie is a much smaller city than Chicago, so maybe they account for population size when they pick too It definitely won't be the big fire and technical show they usually have though, in a theater setting I don't think. I'd still go if they were coming to FL. Maybe they will add more dates. I mean they ORIGINATE out of Florida, so I just can't believe they would not play here. Maybe they will end the tour here or something.

You're right...Their Christmas albums and tours have been so much more successful than the other two albums. I just don't think O'Neill's style works as well for non-Christmas music. Unfortunately, he doesn't currently have any plans to do any more new Christmas albums. He said he'd planned the trilogy of Christmas albums and didn't want to go beyond that.

I have a thought for him, though...He could do another trilogy called something like "Christmas Past", "Christmas Present", and "Christmas Future". The first would have his take on old Christmas hymns, traditional folk songs, etc. The second would have his take on more modern stuff. And the last would be all brand-new stuff.

Yes, our state is HUGE and populated. They move to more rural or coastal counties. Trust me, I can see them when I go to the beach

And the band "Savatage" was a FLORIDIAN band, and Paul O'neil PRODUCED them, and so as I said, a few of the originating members are in fact, Floridian. And did you ever wonder WHY they'd move to Clearwater? One of them is actually from Orlando. They mentioned that during the concert. I can't remember which one though... And the Lakeland thing was a few years back, I never said it was when they started.
