Basically to create a catchy name for a new technology, just add a lowercase "i" in front and you're set

I think they should have made it a double tablet with an integrated style Bamboo feature... now THAT would've been useful to me.

I forgot to tell you how hard I laughed when I read that the 1st time you said it, btw.

That's the kind of funny where I actually get really mad at the person for thinking of it before me.

that was my fantasy feature! looks like it's got a brushes paint app, but that won't be accurate enough for photo retouching or vector illustration.

I thought it had no pen capabilities.... only touch screen...

no pen. only touchscreen. that's why it's not accurate enough to be a real drawing tablet.

ahh.. bummer... if it had pen capabilities like other tablets (like the ThinkPad X200), at $499... it would be pretty compelling....

It's going to be subsidized by the phone companies, ATT I'm thinking. Yu'll get at at reduced cost but have to bundle a data plan with it probably. Maybe 700 dollars if you buy it without a contract.

UGH. Might as well just get a good laptop.

Um, sorry, but does the name "Ipad" just make you wanna run on the beach and scream "I'm beltless"???

(sorry ladies, no really I am)

But is its absorbant, and does it have wings??? Yeah, bad name

So the Kindle gives you updated data every day with no monthly fee, while the ipad requires you to pay 30 bucks a month for the ability to go online and update. The Kindle is kinder on the eyes with its ink screen technology while the ipad may burn your eyes out after awhile. Hmm, I don't think it's quite the Kindle killer it was touted to be. Ifail may be more appropriate in this case.

Now, you DO know that you have to turn the tape to side 2 and fast forward in order to rewind side 1, right?

Or were your parents rich and you got one with a rewind button?

Who had a MiniDisc player? That was kinda the lost relic/technology of my childhood. I had one, I used to love making Mix MiniDiscs in the days before CD burners came loaded standard on comptuers and blank media was cheap...

They were kinda like BetaMAX... very short lived/failed technology. They were neat for their time though.
