Hey, guess what, cuntbag? Your body, your choice? Well next time you want to youthanize yourself, go for it! On second thought, taking one's life is against the law as well.....my bad.So I guess it ain't cogent to throw the old, my body,my choice cliche around anymore.

Doesn't the douche bag who knocked her up have a responsibility here too?

It has sure screwed up our state legislature and I hope it doesn't do the same here.
My only comment is, for whatever reason, I am encredulous with how anyone can abort a perfectly healthy unborn baby, and then try to justify it. Especially when we have 1000s of loving couples that want, but can't have children, but can't find children to adopt. It is flat out sad. I know this oh too well based on a close member of my family and what they have been going through the past fifteen years.
Secondly, if there were an abortion clinic in every town, there is a chance I wouldn't be here today. 'nuff said why I may be tainted?
There are legitimate reasons to abort. Convenient form of birth control makes me sick.

convenient form of birth control my ass... what about the woman who DOES take responsibility and the BC fails? what about Skippy McVirginson over there who never learned how to put on a condom properly and it breaks? what about the girl who didn't exactly consent to it on prom night? the way some of you men talk about it, it's like you think you think women ONLY do it for "birth control". jeesh.
RossValoryRocks wrote:but like I said...it is not my nor the governments place to tell a woman what to do with her body, up to the point of viability. At that point, the baby is fully a human being and the government has the right to decide if killing it is a crime.

Which is why I said, what about the douche bag who knocks them up.
Which brings me to another thing about that - I've always felt if you're going to play with matches, you better find out what kind of fireman you're dealing with .... but it turns out you cannot ask them "What would you do if..." - ummmm yeah, it turns out that guys freak right out if you do that. I have done that twice. And no, apparently I didn't learn my lesson the first time...But I mean jesus, y'all are more than willing when the lights go out but so much as mention a possible consequence and y'all flip out.

Yeah, you're not gonna get an honest answer even if you do ask that, lol. The truth is, I think most guys, myself included just have the "It would never happen to me" attitude. Frankly, I do think it's pretty tough to accidentally knock a chick up. I've had a condom break, I didn't use condoms with my ex-gf (on birth control) for like 2 years etc... but maybe I'm shootin blanks![]()
I just always think of how many couples try so hard to get pregnant and fail, it's just hard to imagine accidentally having it happen. I mean if I were married (read: financially able to support a kid comfortably) and wasn't particularly ready for a kid but did want them someday (as I do) and had it happen, I wouldn't consider that "accidental" in the same sense as some random high school broad getting knocked up on prom night.

not that easy. i HAVE a full time job and guess what... the insurance is WAY too expensive where I work. independant coverage? HA. that's just as expensive.

oh there's my post. I hit 'delete' instead of 'edit' then did an oops and hit 'yes'. LOL. Was not gonna retype all that. hehehe
Ah, and again, my reply. Maybe refraining from consequential behavior until you know the answer without having to ask the question would be wise...

Get a job where it's more affordable or get a better job and make more money and buy your own insurance.
Or, again, give it up for adoption.

i just love people who have NO ovaries yet have ALL the "right" answers about this issue.
and if it were that easy to just "get a better job"... just "go make more money"... we wouldn't have the ridiculous unemployment rate we currently have in this country.

Thanks mom.
Ok, then don't bitch about it if it happens to you & the dude bolts. Just as pregnancy is a consequence of sex for men & women, getting deserted upon knocked-up because you mated with Captain Dickwater is a consequence of sex for women. It's not fair, but it's how it is.
